Il Porcellino Italian Restaurant And Catering

I’m so glad I found this restaurant. It is family owned and run. The owner will make you feel like part of the family as well. I had the cheese and spinach ravioli with cream sauce. The sauce had a light, creamy, buttery flavor which was way better than most places that serve a heavy floury sauce. Cappuccino and Italian ice cream was the perfect combination to top off this amazing lunch!

We chose this venue for our son's confirmation and no regrets. Firstly, the communication with Fiorina was excellent. She responded quickly and answered every questions I posed her way. She accommodated our needs, and I could see that the Tucci Family put in their best efforts to make our event extra special.
The food was amazing. The portions were huge. The hospitality was top notch. The room came together beautifully. I highly recommend Il Porcellino in Mississauga a hidden gem for your next private event. We can't wait to host our next event here! The fact that there was no one in the restaurant during our celebration truly maintained the mood and helped all the focus be on us. Thank you, Tucci Family , for an unforgettable experience.

They get my order wrong every time. The pasta dishes are dry and flavorless. They NEVER have the rapini they list on their menu either. TERRIBLE…
So, I guess there’s a forever shortage because a year ago they stated the exact same issue. Maybe the description should be edited? Extra DRY pasta is NEVER a substitution for a fresh vegetable. And just because it’s written on the order doesn’t make it acceptable. That’s not what I paid for. And I can assure you that the dish was warm when it arrived and opened immediately and it was DRY AND FLAVORLESS AGAIN. Maybe the sauce should’ve been put on the side?!?! That would be common sense… It’s interesting how instead of improving their food items and accepting responsibility for consistent and poorly prepared meal items and making some adjustments, excuses are being made to blame a food shortage, and a customer who paid for their meal, for not consuming the food in a timely manner. Imagine that…

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Just as you walk in, you are greeted with so much love and care. I felt like a part of the family. Tried 4 different dishes on the menu, ravioli, veal, chicken parm, everything was excellent, a little bland for my taste but soooo flavorful. And while you wait for your food they'll bring you the best cup of expresso freshly ground just for you.
It's the little things like that that made me fall in love porcellino.
The best thing is that everyone makes time to chat with you and spends a little one on one. Keep it up👏🏽👏🏽

Tried there pizza for the first time Oh My GoD, wood fire oven, fresh dough, fresh sauce, and fresh cheese, its on top of my list of favorite pizza. Just fantastic can not wait to go back and try it again.

The Tucci family knows food. If you're looking for excellent home-cooked Italian cuisine, Il Porcellino is the place to be. Their dishes feature the freshest, highest-quality ingredients and taste like they came straight out of Nonna's (Italian grandmother's) kitchen. I will definitely be back!
