Sometimes they don't have the sizes and options you need in store, but you can order online and have things shipped to you. Returning items bought online is easy enough to the store so you don't have to ship them back. Skate sharpening done here is quick. Friendly staff.

After they sharpened the skates, they didn't even check the edges. When I requested them to use an edge checker, they had no idea what it was. It's baffling how they can calibrate a SparX machine without even knowing the basics of an edge checker.
I went to the ice rink and asked the pro shop to check the blades. I saw with my own eyes that they were not well-balanced.
Don't get me wrong, I love Pure Hockey. I always buy my hockey gear from them, but I hate how they sharpen skates without checking the blades properly.

The store is clean and organized. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I have purchased at least 5 pairs hockey skates for the whole family (rec skating) over the last year or so and have had an exceptional experience each and every time I have came to the store.
Extremely helpful staff - they are extremely knowledgeable about their products and offer unbiased opinions on what products you should get based on your playing style and foot (I was buying new skates for Beer League) - I just wish they could help me score more goals lol lol
Very helpful in setting me up with my first pair of recreational skates; and gave me guidance and advice. They were very accommodating when I raised a fit/finish issue with a pair of skates I had tried on; no problem, they went to the back and got me an identical pair without that blemish.
We are from out of the area and the team here helped us resolve an issue with a vendor that our local store was able to do. Very helpful team, willing to help with something that really was not their problem, and we are not regulars in that store. Pure Hockey in general should look to stores like this to drive customer service, understand that you have a small client base, so every customer is important, NOT we are the ONLY hockey store so we are the only choice...
