We can see many birds around famous for bird watching and if you are in luck you can visit crocodiles 😀.

Nice little place to spend a couple of hours to walk around and go boating to see some migrant birds and crocodiles in the water. The park is also well maintained and is quite nice to walk around and take in the fresh air. The boat ride was short but was nice to see some of the birds and crocs up close. There are also a couple of playgrounds for kids to enjoy.

A great place for the bird lovers to see many kinds of birds coming from different countries. Weekends you have to wait. Plenty of parking space available. You have to take the tickets for the boat ride..if you want to go inside route apart from the actual route means you have to pay the extra amount and for camera also they will charge.

We visited in the month of June. We saw only continental birds. If you wanna see migrated birds then you need to visit during Dec-Feb. There is a park where kids can play and enjoy nature. Had a boat ride, you can see many different birds sitting on the trees. There are crocodiles in the water too. No harm, as you are safe in the boat.

A bird sanctuary that is well preserved and maintained. The whole area just gives you a relaxed feeling. There is a boating service that is available throughout the day. You get to spot different species of birds and few crocodiles during the time of boating. It consists of small islands where birds dwell. Migratory birds can be seen from Nov-May.
Indeed a great place to go with friends and family.

I had a fantastic experience at Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary near Srirangapatna. The sanctuary's lush greenery and serene river setting were breathtaking. Beautiful place and loved the boat ride. You get to see so many birds and crocodiles too. There is children play area too. Must visit if you are around Mysore, preferably on the way back to Bangalore.
Early morning is the best time to visit.
