Always very helpful when calling in or using e-consult, been with practice 30 years and whilst dreaded Dr Cowley leaving, can honestly my experience is that he’s left in excellent hands. So grateful for the NHS at every level

Don't fall into the 5 stars reviews.
This place from where I used to be a patient, it's been ranked for the 2nd year in a row with the poorest service ever, especially coming from reception.

The reception is very rude and is almost impossible to get an appointment and when you do, it will after 2 or 3 weeks.

Do yourself a favour and don't use this GP.

Excellent service at this surgery ! Phoned at 8.30 yesterday morning and was offered an appointment at 9.30 that same day. Reception staff really friendly. Seen by practice nurse who was very professional and knowledgeable about her job.Made me feel at ease as I’m not the best of patients. Sent me an e.mail with information regarding my condition and issued me with a prescription. No waiting time at all. Would highly recommend this surgery.

Absofeknutely appalling, everything I've been diagnosed with by the hospital they try to play down in conversation to the point of negating the fact that I've got anything wrong with me!

Diagnosed with cam Lesions and arthritis in my hips!

Diagnosed with linear atelectasis, which is a partial collapse to the lung caused by damaged spinal cord.

Left radial nerve sticks.

I have other musculoskeletal issues also.

The only painkillers I can take are opiates, due to the fact that I have an allergy to ibuprofen.

This week a doctor refused my prescription for 15mg of co-codomol tablets, so I told the doctor that I was going to go to another surgery and then I received a letter from the surgery telling me that they wouldn't put up with with my aggressive speech, absolutely incredible.

Due to the fact that they stopped my painkillers I spent the whole of Saturday in absolute agony shaking and shivering and nauseous 🤢

I used to drink alcohol to self medicate and because of the adverse effects I decided to join AA to get sober, and I've been sober for 2 and a half years now.

I find it incredulous that an organisation that's been heavily involved with supposedly helping alcoholics etc would choose to refuse a recovering alcoholic appropriate pain relief.

Had recent issues with telephone appointment but when I went in, the reception staff were so helpful and I got seen the same day. Felt as if my problems were listened to and I was treated really well.

Great service and lovely people, same day appointments for my daughter when we’ve needed but the thing that’s made me write this review is how the surgery went above and beyond to treat my father who is not local. Thank you to everyone.

I don’t regularly go to see the doctor, but I’ve had appointments here over the last few months for myself & my children, and I didn’t experience any of the things posted in the other reviews! Quite the opposite!
The morning phone calls were promptly answered, polite receptionists on the phone who did their best to get an appointment based on our needs.
A nice atmosphere when we got to the surgery, friendly front desk staff.
The waiting time wasn’t long.
Good service by all health professionals.
Couldn’t fault them!
