The clinician here coded wrong entires for my file which said I had the incorrect condition, and reported I had been taking the same medication since 1900 on my file too. I had to call back to get them corrected and they’re still not. Note- look at the NHS app to see what’s been coded. Generally, it’s a pretty awful service and misses out on basic fundamentals like telling you when a doctor will ring back. Whenever I call, I’m always told ‘a doctor will call you’ and the receptionist is ready to put the phone down. We shouldn’t have to ask ‘when’ and then be given vague details like ‘this morning’ - people have lives and need to know the time.

today I had an appointment at 9.50 after ten minutes of waiting. I went to the reception to ask what was going on and I was informed that the nurse is not here today 😆 😂 😆 😂 very bad ... a tragedy, so many people complain, and they do nothing about it

Tomorrow I might try phoning the bakery across the road instead….
With them I have more chance of getting an appointment, I’m not waiting 45 minutes on hold, the receptionist won’t be so rude and I won’t be told to call back tomorrow. And I can order a sausage roll so it won’t be another complete waste of a morning.

I am so disappointed with the care given to my elderly mother. I got a telephone call on Monday as she had nasty symptoms of a water infection. The clinician called later Monday afternoon and wanted a sample but stressed I could only bring it down the following morning at 9am. I took the sample and he told the receptionist he would call later as had a clinic. After me calling to chase in afternoon I was told he was now testing it. When he eventually called to tell me she had an infection What I had told him ) 24 hours earlier. Subsequently her symptoms got a lot worse and has developed to stomach pain. At 86 years old you just don’t leave someone with a suspected infection.

Just curious if everyone is happy about how rude Mr practitioner who always emphasizes that he is not a doctor.
So rude, and unprofessional that I won't hire him to work in the veterinary sector.

Very disappointing had an infection in my ear prescribed antibiotic cream ,asked for a prescription was told couldn't as it would have to go to ashcroft pharmacy for Saturday, told doctor I was at work and that pharmacy didn't open ,so she said would send it to asda ,I went there Saturday night after work after about 20 min looking for it they said doctor sent it to ashcroft rd ,they shut at 6 mon to fri and now not off till Wednesday...totally incompetent should have just given me prescription and not told me otherwise, waste of my time and money plus ear in pain what is the point!

0 stars!
And I think most of all who attended or attended this GP can confidently say 80% of this is due to the receptionists!
They ABSOLUTELY do not know how to talk to people.
Appreciate my GP and put up with the rubbish people skills because of it! But seriously for goodness sake!
They forget that all of us are in professions we CHOSE! And they are consistently rubbish at theirs! If anyone reading this can recommend some decent practices in the area that would be greatly appreciated because these mannerless and mean spirited women do not realise that standard and duty of care begins with them and not once I'm sat in the chair with my GP. We are all allowed bad days, but EVERY time we call or turn up??
15+ years at this practice and level of care and professionalism has taken a deep nose dive for the worst!
