Went there as was having a cough for almost a month. Good service!

I hope this message finds you. If there were a way to rate my recent experience at your shop, it would be a resounding -5 stars.
I've been a loyal customer, visiting almost every Saturday since October 2023. However, today, I had an extremely disappointing encounter with the lady handling WhatsApp orders.
I highly recommend checking the chat history to verify what I have mention below, as the situation escalated even before my arrival. Moreover, at least four of your staff members were present and witnessed the argument she initiated with me.
Here's a breakdown of what happened:
1. I sent my order through WhatsApp.
2. I politely inquired about the earliest possible time for order collection.
3. Despite my inquiry, the lady informed me that I could only collect my order at 2:30 pm, which equates to 3.5 hours for just 2 packets of medicine since I placed the order at 11 am.
4. Given the lengthy waiting time, I politely canceled my order and thanked her.
5. Subsequently, she sent me an attitude-filled voice message on WhatsApp, which I found unprofessional.
6. When I called to further discuss the matter, she persisted in displaying unprofessional behavior. I reiterated my concern, emphasizing the importance of not rushing the staff, especially considering the meticulous process involved in handpicking the medicines.
7. She asked me to decide the time, so I suggested 11:30 am.
8. It's worth noting that in previous interactions, I've always been told to collect my orders around 12 or 1 pm without any issues, unless the waiting time exceeded 3 hours.
Upon arriving at your shop:
1. I arrived early at 11:20 am and patiently waited until 11:30 am before approaching the counter to inquire about my order.
2. To my dismay, the lady at the counter immediately started shouting and displaying a disrespectful attitude upon my arrival.
3. She then suggested that I should have sent my order the night before if I wanted early collection, which I found unreasonable given the circumstances.
4. Despite her insistence that I should have sent my order earlier, I had only received the medicine list after visiting my doctor this morning and immediately placed my order.
I visit your shop to spend my money and support your business, not to endure such disrespectful treatment.
Additionally, one reason I prefer buying medicine from your shop is its commitment to freshness.
If you prefer that I no longer visit your shop, please do let me know. Alternatively, I can explore other options in the area. I've never encountered issues with other staff members; it's consistently this particular lady who has provided subpar service.

Found bugs in unopened package. Called and they reduse an exchange, citing that i store it wrongly, and blame the weather. Bugs in natural ingredients is perfectly normal, but this way of conducting business is unacceptable. They says the disclaimer behind the pack says to keep it frozen. But they themselves display everything in an open concept. I believe over the years, i have spent quite a substantial amount of money buying things from them, as gift for my family. Honest business don't give excuses. They called themselve "德" (conscience) "信" (trustworthy). But they did not live up to it. To those buying here, you better check and check properly. If they even refuse to make exchange for a cheap item like this, good luck to your other expensive items.
Service depends on who's serving you but the chaps there will tell you to buy everything. Relatively decent variety of Chinese herbs and medicinal items. However, most of the stuff are laid out in the open and it smells. From dried sea creatures to dusty old herbs. I didn't like the fact that some products were drying by the busy roadside.
A very well-stocked traditional Chinese medical hall, with packaged and lose dry food, herbs, and spices if you are familiar with using these type of ingredients for cooking and medicinal purposes.
If you are not sure but willing to learn, the staff are very friendly and more than willing to provide tips and guidance.

The shop is a familiar name amongst the elderly folks. They carry a wide range of Chinese dried food stuff, spices & medical herbs. Especially crowded during the festive Lunar New Year period.
