Good place for walk, quiet and have playground for kid.
Great little park, with the Red River being very high! Keep an eye out for snapping turtles!
Small park by the river. Small creek runs through the middle. Walking paths. Kids play structure. Couple benches and picnic tables. Parking lot. Close to Assiniboine Park. Streets that run along the river next to the park are friendly to pedestrians.
We had a great time walking through the park. Our two-year-old loved the play structure and we loved how shaded the area was. We will definitely be going back.
One drawback is that the wading pool still wasn't open by the time we left (it was supposed to open at 11:00, but it wasn't even close to full at 11:30 when we headed home).

Very quiet well kept playground....nice little trail with cute little bridges...wading pool was not in use it looked like or the bathrooms by the wading pool...but me and my 3 boys spent a good couple hours here in the evening, with some bug spray...but was a great little place we found in Winnipeg

A nice little park in the middle of the city. Had a wonderfully pleasant stroll during my stay at the hotel across the street. The weather was amazing that day!
