Bảo tàng cực kỳ rộng. Nơi đây ghi nhận lại toàn bộ lịch sử hình thành và phát triển của Thâm Quyến. Bên trong bảo tàng được phân chia khu vực tham quan cực kỳ logic, từ tiền sử, phong kiến, đến cận hiện đại và hiện đại, giúp bạn hiểu lịch sử cực kỳ dễ dàng.
Bảo tàng dễ dàng đi đến từ sân bay Bảo An. Bạn ko cần mua vé, tham quan miễn phí, đến nơi có nhân viên hướng dẫn giữ hành lý free (nếu bạn mang theo hành lý nhiều).

It's really beautiful place to be there.

Pretty basic, free museum that shows the history of Shenzhen with a few snapshots and displays out of the history. Not much explanation in English. The temporary exhibitions are Chinese only.
It's free and the staff is friendly.

Located at city center, and can be accessed thru MRT Hongling stop. It's a good 2-3 hour walk, and interesting knowledge on Shenzhen history. For me, it was learning about Hakka people and Cantonese people.
A must visit museum for those interested in Shenzhen history.

A great place to see the development from old to new Shenzhen

The Shenzhen Museum located in Futian district is one of the city’s not to be missed gems, offering fascinating historical exhibits from the ancient to the modern and is actually three museums packed into one huge complex that is an architectural marvel by itself. The current highlight is the Pingcheng and Yungang Grottoes Art in the Northern Wei Dynasty Exhibition at the History and Folk Culture Division in Civic Centre where visitors can check out the 9 meter tall replica of Yungang Grottoes Cave 12, famously known as the “Music Cave”. that was built between 470 and 494AD in Northern Wei’s capital Pingcheng (now Datong, Shanxi Province). Was well worth the high speed rail ride in from Hong Kong.
