Fantastic service !

Simone is an amazing host, very helpful, attentive and made our visit smoother in more ways than one. Special thanks for helping us find our earphones sir!
The apartments are very clean, same as the photos, they have all the necessary amenities, the location is very central, value for money is top notch. Highly recommended.

Great stay! Within walking distance to almost all major sites in Rome. Plus the metro station is just a few minutes walk away.
The apartment itself is very secure, with three different locked doors. The apartment includes terrace, kitchenette, and even a shared washing machine down the hall.

Location good

Brilliant!

Frattina was more amateur host than hotel, but still has plenty to like. The rooms don't match the generosity of the photos, but are nice for what it is no less.
We rented two rooms, where one came with an outside patio and rather large kitchen area. The second apartment had a 'kitchen' tucked in a closet attached to the bathroom and no balcony or windows you could look out (there were small frosted glass windows that barely open).
The hotel doesn't seem to do well with weekend arrivals as we had arranged a ride and no one bothered to tell us that ride wasn't coming. Check in is a little different in this place, and where the air bnb feel comes from. This place is literally at the Singapore consulate, so you need someone to let you in. We called and a person answered, said they would call to have someone let us in, which after a few minutes they did. It's fortunate one of us had international phone service, otherwise I'm not sure how one would get into this place without calling someone. The lady that let us in said we'd need to check back with someone on Monday. We didn't know where or for what.
Be mindful, there is no room service or housekeeping. They did not provide hotel basics (in one of the rooms) like soap and shampoo, so be sure to pack them.
If you booked this online beware, the listing I booked was online and said the price included all fees and taxes, but the frattina staff insisted I need to pay them a local Rome tax. I didn't see any other reviews from people that had this issue, but they demanded a send them a credit card after we left.
Outside of the unique hotel experience, the location is fairly good. It's easy to walk to most attractions and around the corner from Trevi Fountain. I would book again for sure since I like the air bnb feel, but if you are looking for a traditional hotel, look elsewhere.

Located in the heart of Rome, nearby the Spanish Stairs. The appartments are in the same building as the Embassy of Singapore. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the appartment stylish decorated and includes everything you need to give it that "extra home" feeling. We stayed for 3 days and we would go there again if we plan another trip to the eternal city. Chances are we will do that one day, for we threw coins in the fameous Trevi Fountain ;)
