Club Wyndham Shawnee Village

Excellent location for a family vacation! There are indoor and outdoor pools, mini golf, walking trails, and so much more! The associates are also very friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant! The accommodations are fantastic, with a full kitchen, 2 1/2 baths, washer/dryer combo, eat in kitchen, screened back porch, jacuzzi in master suite and full living room! You could live here for weeks! So much more that I haven’t mentioned! Excellent facility, definitely worth checking out!!

I have a love hate relationship with this place. Its really nice, quiet, serene, and relaxing. A very beautiful place. I've also been there a total of 5 times, experienced a rainstorm during every stay, and have been without power for half the nights that I've been there. It's very frustrating when you plan this stay, buy yourself some food to cook for your family, and the power goes out and you lose everything. Multiple times. There's not much, if anything at all, that the staff can do when that happens so it's a very upsetting experience to have over and over again, but you have to understand that you're in the middle of the woods and you might have to spend a night or two in pitch black darkness. I've seen many people pack up their things and checkout early when this happens. I bring a few games from home and wait for it

This place was a great value. We got the villa and for the price it was loaded. Screened in porch. Full kitchen with all utensils and dishes. Best part? 3 bathrooms. Travelling with the wife and 2 kids that was worth it.

Rec center was a little rundown but it's obvious they are making improvements. Pools were clean. People, both staff and guests, were super nice and friendly.

And the location is great. There's so much to do within 20 minutes radius.

Definitely will be planning a second trip.

They asked me to leave a positive review. However, I'm not really sure what that is "positive" about Shawnee Village. Their pool tables cost 1.25 per rack. Their putt putt costs 10-14.00 trash never got emptied. Albeit when I texted the maintenance, I would come and pull the top bags off the ones that were overflowing. All of our views were of the parking lot. When asking for an ADA room, they stated I needed to book that online. However, when booking with Wyndham on the website as a VIP owner, I didn't have that option. It was nice if you want a quiet place to sit and read or if you're a hiker there are lots.of water falls. However, they're not ADA accessible so they're out of my capability. Enjoy your stay. Rooms are dated but clean. My husband did notice a chair that a dog chewed up. Not dog friendly, Wyndham.??? ADA dogs should be out of their chewing phase.

I’ve been coming to Shawnee with my family , friends and my significant other for years. I am also a Wyndham owner. It’s a great place for families with children, for families with elders who can’t get around so easy and even couples. Lots of activities to do. Property management can improve with up keeping outside and deep cleaning inside. Overall a great place to make memories and get away from the busy city life.

Edit: came August 2024 with my family and was finally given a renovated unit. I am happy to see the new renovations in the older cabins as it was overdue. As an owner, I’ve been waiting to see where my money goes for years, so it’s refreshing to see this change. Also wanted to give a shout out to our lovely Rita at check in and Alec who somehow always gets to checks my family in. Great people and amazing service always.
