Lake Underhill Park

Lake Underhill is a gem Downtown gem! The loop around the lake is beautiful. You can see the city from the walk too. Great place to watch the sunset.

I must say this mini vacation built as a park. Great area to bring family, boat and fishing gear. The water is greenish, there is quite a bit of vegetation so using a weedless lure would be sufficient

Nice place for families for walk, fishing birds seeing and water sports.
Track has beautiful view of lake and the bridge.
Management must add more benches around track.

This park is clean and well designed. Complete with benches, exercise stations like monkey bars, push up bars and stretching. Trash cans are also strategically located and there is a water fountain station provided by OUC. Some birds can also be seen around the lake.

Parking is limited but there are spots for trailers and a boat ramp. Bathrooms are located at the parking lot area.

The trail is 2.5 miles long. Longer than Lake Eola and definitely a lot less busier. Only downside is, the sound of cars coming from 408.

I've done the run path part of the park and we drive past it all the time. But, we always meant to try it for paddleboarding and today we did. And, it was wonderful.

The weather was perfect. The water was easy to paddle and when you go under the highway, you can watch the planes at the Executive Airport take off. The only shade is under the highway, but it's really nifty under there.

I've walked around the lake many times and it's great, but today was our first time paddling it.

It's always looked choppy because of wind from the airport and it's a Hotspot for fishermen and jetskiers in our neighborhood. While still a little choppy the water is super nice to paddle. Will definitely be coming here more to relax and plane watch from under the 408.

Small park not too crowded. Has a nice sidewalk around the lake perfect for jogging or simply walking. There's also a boat ramp and a gazebo. The parking is easily accessible end over all is well kept.
