All you can eat is great!! Their pre-made sides could use some work though.

The food was really good. And the staff were really nice. But the pricing was a bit excessive. I feel like they could have 2 tiers (meat & sea food).

Alright hotpot experience but sake, atmosphere and service is good. We come on Friday night and the wait is 2 hr but it allows us to put our name in Yelp list at home so it's fine. For 3 people we get 2 broths the house and miso. The servers keep the meat we order coming but for some reason no matter how much meat we add the flavors of the broths don't improve. It's like dipping meat in boiling water. The meat itself is sliced very thin and there's not enough for each portion. The clam and seafood stuffs we get are also not good. Clams have a lot of sand we don't recommend. The best thing by far is the dumplings, pork belly meat and wide selection of sake. Overall, it's an average overpriced ($40/person) hotpot place for what you get but people are coming for the sake and it's not crowded like other places.

Love this place. First of all, service is really good. Greg is such an enthusiastic server, A+. The meat quality and variety is fantastic. Love the different sauces. The veggies were fresh. I also love the porridge rice at the end. And who can turn down the sweet rice drink for dessert. Great experience. One of my favorite places to go in Buena Park.

Had a birthday dinner here and we came early which may contribute to the ease of getting a table for 6. Toppings were fresh. The plate of vegetables had a good variety. Broth options were good. We appreciate that they refill with broth unlike some places that refill with hot water. Sake selection was good.

Yay! They’re open again as of Jun 8th! Got there close to opening time to avoid any potential wait or rush.
This was our first time here but are fans of their other restaurant Mr. BBQ in Fullerton.
We were pleased to see that a new option/special was added to the menu for lunch. For $16.99 you get your choice of a broth, 12oz of meat and an add on like noodles or dumplings! AYCE is still available but all guests in one party need to agree on one option or the other.
This all comes with rice and a big plate of fresh veggies! We were impressed with the quality and presentation of the vegetables and everything else tasted really good. Since the pot is divided in two you can choose two broths for the table where up to 4 people could share.
We chose the kimchi and miso broths and ordered the choice eye and chicken. Both of the broths developed nicely as the meats and and veggies were cooked. The ponzu was light and slightly seemed and the gooma (sesame) sauce was also light and tasty.
Different from many other shabu restaurants, Miss Shabu has actual gas heating so you get a more consistent temperature for your broth/soup.
Toward the end we added our noodles for the second phase of the meal. We were told about a porridge (jook) that can be made with the remaining broth, but we were too stuffed to eat any more.
Happy we stopped in and had a great meal! The tables were spaced a good distance apart and everything seemed really clean. Our server was engaging and attentive and we’re excited about going back again sometime soon!

Satisfied! My first visit was lunch and this time was dinner. Servers are ready for service with smiles and will fulfill your requests. Foods are fresh and delicious. Didn't get a chance to taste their ice-cream dessert because their machine was out of order. I recommend and plan to go there again.
