We have not been for a while but the restaurant looks amazing. The finishings are fresh and the restaurant looks very modern. The food was delicious. The waiters were extremely attentive and the wine and cocktails were delightful. The whole experience was worth going back for. A must for a date night or special occasion. You won't be disappointed.

A truly sublime experience at one of Cape Town's top restaurants. We had the Winter set menu (but a vegan version of it), and it was such a treat. I am not a chocolate dessert person at all but this one blew me away. To the attentive waitrons and the chef, a mighty big thank you for making our day.

Restaurant is beautifully appointed, warm and welcoming and Appears to be a place where you can get lucky with a fantastic dining experience. However on my night flavours were muted, fillet was tasteless and underwhelming. Well plated, but short on seasoning. Bread course is great, amuse bouche not bad except for undercooked tomato.

Collaboration between Chef Shin Takagi from 2 Michelin star restaurant in Kanazawa and Chef Peter Tempelhoff..wonderful food and wine pairing and great atmosphere.. only slightly spoilt by our below par waiter for the evening..

We tried booking Beyond for several weeks prior to our stay in Cape town, but it was constantly fully booked (we now understand why). Eventually we decided to try our luck and just showed up during lunch hours. They were kind enough to squeeze us in, and we could not have been more pleased with our experience. Both the food and service was outstanding, and we are longing to go back for another mouthwatering experience!

Having dined at many restaurants in Cape Town and South Africa, this restaurant was still beyond my expectations.
For 3 diners the spring menu was quite a bargain at this level of cuisine.
What really stood out for me was the clear uncluttered flavours. Everything on each plate complimented each other and brought amazing balance. Well thought out preparations. The chicken and beef mains were outstanding.
The service and the ambiance too was perfect.
I will definitely go back to try other menus here.

Wonderful fine dining experience at Beyond Restaurant. Unpretentious dishes complimented each element on the plate amazingly. Staff were attentive, and each course was delicious. Our favorite was the Brisket and Truffle Aioli and the Chicken and Duck Roulade 👌🏼 worth the visit, and the views into the vineyard is beautiful.
