North Florida Emergency services

(LONG POST) I went here in the beginning of my pregnancy (roughly 5 1/2 weeks) because I tested positive for Covid and had bad spotting. As soon as we walked in the door around 11:00am they ran my husband out and said he couldn’t be in there with me. I got called back to the room and they wanted a urine sample and ordered an ultrasound. I didn’t get the ultrasound until around 3 o’clock. They wouldn’t let me see the ultrasound or tell me anything about what was going on, around 2 hours later I had to call the nurses station to see if my results were back and they finally sent someone in to let me know what was going on. The man then tells me that my baby is not in the correct place that I’m having an ectopic pregnancy and says he’s sending me to north Florida by ambulance to “deal with it”. The whole time I’ve been alone and my husband sitting outside in the truck. I get to north Florida and the OB resident comes in asks what they told me and then looks at me and says “your baby is fine and is in the correct place and growing beautifully” offered to do another ultrasound for my piece of mind but said they was totally wrong and should have never told me what they did. If I hadn’t of waited for another opinion they would have caused me to get an abortion when my baby was perfectly healthy. She’s now 11 months old and has absolutely nothing wrong with her! I will NEVER be back!

The best experience I could’ve asked for, all things considered. I walked in and was immediately brought back into a room. Every single person I encountered was kind, polite, efficient and caring. I received comprehensive treatment and felt very well cared for. Should the need arise, I will return here. Alex was my super friendly RN. He made me feel very comfortable and Kristen Williams was a great practitioner. She was thorough in her examination, tests and answering my questions.

This ER is ok but I can tell you I've been in and out of hospital with my mother's illness for year, as I sit here in the waiting room does the PA think I not know when she is ordering unnecessary test for a tooth infection in my mom's jaw!!! She didn't need a CT scan of her head this is just a reason to overbill the insurance for expensive long tests..... The PA that is assising my mother is a cheat!!!! I would like to have a word with the administration of this facility!!!! And ask them if they believe all this was nessissary? I know it wasn't ........ This happens when health care turns into a business!!!!

Went to ER after sustaining a injury to my face. I was literally triaged the minute i walked in. Then taken back to room within 5 mins. Few mins later the nurse, resident and radiology were all in my room. Resident checked me out, then I immediately went for a head CT. Results were negative and I was out of there. The entire visit, i think was less than an hour. Very friendly and compassionate people. Will definitely use them again.

I had an amazing experience at this ER. I took my 10 year old here last week when he was in need of a few stitches. Everyone treated him with kindness and respect. From the front desk staff to the doctors, everyone was wonderful. Unlike most emergency rooms, we didn't wait hours for the next person to walk in the room to take an x-ray or provide medicine. It was a very smooth, efficient process. The whole visit took under two hours. Highly recommended!

Extremely friendly staff and medical professionals, I was in and out in an efficient manner and my experience was great. I wish I could remember all their names, but from first walking in and speaking with Ryan to discharge it was a smooth and caring process. While I hope I won't have too many medical reasons to frequent this facility, if I do I will be more at ease knowing I will be taken care of, informed, and treated well.

I had a great experience at this ER. The staff here is so professional and friendly; they make a bad situation as pleasant as they can. Nurse Hal is the best. The wait time was the shortest that I've experienced in ER history. I would definitely recommend going there.
