Hart Plaza

Came for the Jazz Festival to watch Haki! play. What a venue with magical city and river views. Hart Plaza is clean, feels safe to tourists, and the Riverwalk right there. Very accessible location, highly recommend a visit.

My family and I had an amazing time. My youngest son is non verbal, autistic. Loves music so we took him to the Jazz Festival for his birthday. We had a great spot for the band that played in front of us. We had an absolute ball. The music was great, he smiled the entire time. By the time we got home he was completely tuckered out. If you knew my son...hard thing to do. Wonderful experience, we'll definitely incorporate this as an annual event.

Took .my Mom to the Detroit Jazz Festival and it was Peaceful, Safe and Free! Also plenty of Food Truck choices.

I’m from Metro-Detroit, and spent many summers at Hart Plaza enjoying the festivals and weekend happenings. This visit was during the 4th of July weekend, on a Saturday and It’s only gotten better! The fountain is working again - it’s clean and fun for families of all ages. Saw the Detroit Princess parked outside the River walk and enjoyed the water scenery. I love Detroit!

Despite that, Hart Plaza remains a must-visit destination in Detroit for both locals and tourists alike.

Even though Detroit doesn't have a very good reputation, I like this city. The city center seems to be nicely arranged, there are still some events taking place here and there are many monuments and interesting places in this square where you can learn more about the city.
