Brighton Dam Visitor Center

To say the least, it was less than welcoming.

Interesting history and current use facts and figures may be found in the Visitor Center. Lots of brochures available for regional venues.

Told me not to lean my bike up against the railing and told me that they don’t have any water fountains available. Don’t bike here.

For the last few years I have seen the beautiful pictures from this place and really wanted to see by myself. Visited with friends, and absolutely loved it. There were many people in the garden and the parking was tricky. The parking attendants at the visitor center were very helpful. The beauty of the azaleas are unparalleled dotted by the blooming dogwoods.
To me it looked like the peak bloom, but there are many trees which haven't fully bloomed yet.
Prom photography and portrait photography are going on in full swing.
The boat dock and the small beach is perfect to enjoy a serene sunset before the park closes.
Will visit again, probably on a week day

When to get a fishing permit. Had to stay in the car than they brought it to me. Beautiful day out but no fish.

Great place for family gatherings, team events or just to chill.

Want to get away for some peace and quiet , try Brighton Dam. Nice azalea garden too. Watch for bees. Learn about hydroelectric dans. Peace, quiet, and knowledge.
