Suburban Seafood

I can honestly say and recommend Suburban for their tasteful turkey wings. I kid you not. I will literally travel just to place an order.!!! I called the other day and the turkey wings were sold out but because I anticipated , I was advised to call back in an hour. It was worth it. In my opinion it supersedes Carolina Kitchen. Their sides are seasoned to perfection (reason being ?) as a place in the food industry ( it is necessary to factor allergies , food restrictions,, vegan options and protein preference ). This location is definitely one of my top choices for soul food when you have an urge for southern hospitality. I hope anyone who orders has a good experience & if not let’s be mindful no one is perfect. Just input your suggestions if things do not meet your standards. Yes we can provide an opinion but let’s do it accordingly where it serves a positive impact & not a tear down. There is plenty of room to improve & elevate on a daily basis. If the quality doesn’t meet your expectations , then my only suggestion would be to cook your own meal from scratch but I highly recommend this restaurant . Keith Lee should have definitely stopped in town ( don’t know him ? ) he is a food enthusiasts who travels and reviewer who gives honest opinions on restaurants.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. One order was enough for 2 meals. The service was prompt, and the staff was very courteous and professional.

I grew up eating here as a child . This place has been opened for years but it lost its value when they got new owners.

I swear I never in my life did a review an on top of that I’ve lived in the DMV all my life I’m always up an down Marlboro pike an drove past this place a thousand times but I decided to stop in today an got fillet fish rice gravy an baked beans oh an a side of chitterlings.An man I tell you food so damn good got me on here now doing a review I been missing out all this time smh I done crushed half the meal an stopped to do this didn’t taste the chitterlings yet but I just know it’s torch taste like my grandmother back there.Man shout out to y’all I’ll definitely be back!!!!!💯

I always order here. If you are looking for the BEST CATFISH come here. Don't listen to other reviews. You can get extra on the side of whatever you want. They pack the plate well. The sides are great try the greens and the yams. Everything that they have there is great. I highly recommend this place to anyone. When you look on the outside and inside it may look like a hole in the wall spot but I am telling you, there food is delicious.

So If i need to update my review if I order something else, I will. But I ordered fried shrimp, fries, tea and lemon cake. All of it was Good. I also ordered a crab cake. It was ok, not bad at all. Just wish they had cornbread.

DON’T DO IT!
I read several reviews before deciding to go, most were favorable. I was very impressed that they have been in business for decades,right? WRONG!
The prices were comparable to the area.
Great menu options.
Convenient location.
I ordered 2 dinners.
1 - BBQ Turkey wings with mac & cheese, collard greens and candied yams.
2 - Smothered pork chops with string beans & mac & cheese.
Both meals under $30 and after a few bites it ALL went to the trash.
Mac & Cheese was not baked.
Pork Chops were slightly over cooked.
BBQ baked Turkey wings could have used some more time in the oven.
Candied yams were not candied they were just sweet potatoes.
Bottom line it waste of money - I will never go back.
