The color factory was one of my favorite things to do in Chicago. I loved how the exhibits touched on all the five senses in some way. The horns exhibit was so clever and the kids loved the ball room of course. The timed entry was great, giving us time to enjoy each space with just our group alone. If you’re thinking about going don’t hesitate it’s so worth it! There is a food court up stairs and it’s in the same place as a skydeck!

The new exhibit here has all of the fall vibes and excitement you need and I’m so thankful they invited me out to experience it! It’s literally the perfect fall kick off activity for any type of occasion and all ages! The adults that I saw look like they were having more fun than any kids that were there…. Including me LOL!!!

From beginning to end - there is an immersion of color, activities and fun…… and let’s not forget the free treats along the way! And you can take free digital photos with their cameras that are set up throughout the entire exhibit. At the end, you have the option to purchase them or to email them to yourself for free. How dope is that?!

I love how many of the exhibits carried the theme of mindfulness and being appreciative, while giving you time to fully absorb each of the 14 art exhibits that you go through.

It’s only here until NOVEMBER 3rd, so head downtown and immerse yourself!!

Notes: it is INSIDE the Willis tower. Check out the FAQ on their website, to see which garages to park, and they help discount your parking ticket. Otherwise you would end up with a $60 dollar parking ticket. We still ended up paying $25 for the parking but way better than $60! When you enter the Willis tower, head to the escalators and go down 2 floors, you'll see it. There are a lot of guys in suits at the front doors of Willis to help out so don't hesitate to ask!
Five stars from me and my boyfriend!
Great fun for adults, even the ball pit at the end is pretty fun!
Really fun amazing interactive art exhibits. It is like nothing we've ever seen before! The treats were tasty. We got jelly beans, macarons, Taffy, pop rocks, ice cream. They ask about any allergies before giving you any food. The employees explaining the exhibits were nice and smiling. Take as many photos as you can with your card (with common courtesy to others). You can download a zip file for free from your email later.

Had such a great time here! There are so many fun activities for any age! I went here with my boyfriend and parents and we all had such a great time! We spent about an hour and a half to get through the whole museum. Definitely had the best time in the ball pit at the end.

I'm autistic... And this was everything I needed...
Warns you about what's in the next room is it can be frightening or requires caution
Lots of free food which was surprising, and it's good!
Very clean for a place with kids running around, but even then when I went it wasn't super busy so there weren't very many kids at all
Great photo opportunities and you can pay for print versions of your photo!
All in all
Sensory friendly, stimulating, and fun!!

The Colour Factory is a truly unique and immersive experience! I was surprised by the vibrant, interactive exhibits that celebrate the joy of color. From the rainbow ball pit to the confetti room, every space encourages you to engage with the vibrant displays. The staff is very friendly and the overall vibe is playful and whimsical.

You can check in your coats or bags for free before heading in. They also give you a QR code that you scan in specific areas to take pictures and they are all sent in a link to your email for free.

Whether you're a color enthusiast or just looking for a fun day out, I recommend visiting The Colour Factory. It's a one-of-a-kind experience that's sure to brighten your day.
