Loved the ferry... Great day trip
The ferry lets 10-15 people get off at this stop, and they let 2 people in. So one has to wait hours to manage to get into a ferry here.
Rainy, misty and beautiful.
Whatever you do don't try and get the ferry from here on a sunny day, we waited for half an hour to be told it was full and nobody could get on. No indication of this whatsoever on the electronic board or even a staff member to tell us earlier. Never ended up going to governor's Island that day :(
Best value in NY. Stunning views fun ride bus fare. Try an evening ride. Spectacular

Love, Love, Love the Pier. The view @ Pier 6 is so awesome. U can c the Staten Island Ferry, Statue of Liberty and Manhattan. The water 💧 is so calming (not the cleanest, wear your mask) and what a beautiful view @ nite.
