Night Parrot Wine Bar

A very cool little Wine Bar! Friendly service, chilled music and very tasty cocktails (ie try the Salted Caramel Espresso Martini!😋). There's not a lot of seating, which means the place can easily fill up quickly... so maybe book ahead of you want one of the comfy booths! They did have a Happy Hour... but disappointed to find it's been dropped.

We went back to this place after a great experience but unfortunately we think it’s been sold. We asked for a whisky but they didn’t have any of the list. Asked for vodka but also didn’t have any. Our cocktails were warm and the food isn’t worth mentioning. We left annoyed and went to another place.

Terrible staff. Aggressive manner. I asked what IPA's they had in stock. They replied they had a Balter XPA. When I explained that an XPA was not an IPA the staff member became quite aggressive, surly and dismissive remonstrating that they ‘weren’t a beer bar’. With attitude like that I left and wont be back.

Out for an evening's entertainment, my family and I stopped in for a drink, and perhaps something sweet. Sadly, they had no sweet food on the menu, but the wine list looked impressive.... until we ordered wine. Almost everything we asked for from the list was unavailable. We had to ask what they had to get a drink.
The drinks were reasonably priced, the service was professional and friendly, and the ambience of the venue was pleasant.

Thank you Scarlet for your sass and your hospitality - you, along with Noah, were the perfect hosts. I can see why the place was jam packed and fully booked and you ran out of tofu! Please consider naming the bubbly cocktail the Scarlet Bomb - she is worthy of having it named after her!

Absolute winner this place. Yet another fantastic. Good, wine and cocktail experience to open in Wollongong. We were a group of four and sat on the wall in the little booth. Fantastic vibe and energy. The menu isn’t huge , which means they do everything well…. Very well!
