The classics wing of the building is absolutely stunning with its beautiful historic architecture. Very picturesque from across the Alan Gilbert square, and is one of the three beautiful buildings that surrounds it. Is slightly convoluted to navigate at first however.

A white, beautiful academic building which looks like a museum (from the inside and from the outside). There's a statue of Samuel Alexander in the middle of the hall. There are lots of classrooms and research offices in the building. A small on-campus cafe, Lime Cafe, sits on the lower ground floor of the building. It's a nice place for SALC students to gather around and discuss their schoolwork together.

It's still quiet. People studying for the last exams before the summer holidays. Sam Alex is an interesting building where old meets new. I prefer the older section for the architecture and history. The newer section has compass corridors, makes it easy to locate your room. It's a good place for arts and languages. 🥰
