We love Simon so much. Exceptional service, a gorgeous human being!
We had our wedding at Bougainvillea House. The staff were amazing from the booking process through to the final touches of the day. Lauren (incredible) our event coordinator was in contact with us regularly keeping us updated and providing suggestions of what we should do. John (fantastic) managed the night and was behind the scene keeping everything perfect. The weather was atrocious - storms everywhere, but the staff kept everyone dry and comfortable. The outside area was set up picture perfect with indoors set for 60 guests. The wait staff were so attentive and friendly with the food impressing all 60 people. Our day was made special and perfect by the staff and venue. Thank you all so much. Such a beautiful place.
We had our wedding at this venue and couldn't speak highly enough of it. Everything from the decor, location, view, staff and layout made our special day even more wonderful. Really pleased we chose Bougainvillea House as our wedding venue and all our guests loved it.
What an absolutely wonderful venue and location. We enjoyed our nieces wedding there last night And was soo impressed with the who function. The cocktail food was delicious, generous in portion size, and so many different tastes.
There were plenty of staff who were very friendly and efficient. Special mention to one though, for her great attitude, attention to who was drinking what and checking if you needed a top up or a water. Having used to work in hospitality and owned my own businesses....staff like Olivia are gold, gems you want in your function team.

Stunning Wedding Venue!
The place was incredible, overlooking the Brisbane River, CBD Skyline and Howard Smith Wharves.
The intimate venue is perfect for a medium sized wedding, the food served was delicious and designed to share between guests. We had a seafood platter, Short ribs, snapper curry, and half chicken.
The Groom joked that the outside seats were the cheap seats! He was so wrong, a Qld evening watching the sky change colours over the CBD I was not complaining.

We chose Bougainvillea House as the reception venue for our wedding and could not be happier! The evening ran exactly as planned - it was everything we dreamt of. The venue was set-up exactly as we had hoped for, the service on the night was spot on, the food was delicious, drinks flowing non-stop... not to mention the breathtaking views! The staff were very accommodating, agreeing to extend our booking last minute as we were having so much fun on the dance floor! They even ensured sparklers were ready for our guests to use to line the path as we left, organising for a buggy to drive us to our hotel at the end of the night. We would definitely recommend Bougainvillea House for your wedding reception or special event. Thank you!
