They make tou pay insurance for your ticket, if you cancel your ticket still need to pay a fee. For my ticket of $400 with insurance. They want me to pay $300 for cancelation fee plus tax so I get back $40. So be aware of this company and their cancelations fees, insurance is worthless

Hung up on me 3 times in waited over an hour on each call, only to have the customer service hang up on me.

Horrible horrible customer service, it said one thing and after purchasing my ticket it said something way different. I am praying I get my money back..

WORSE Experience of my life! STAY AWAY!! Cancelled, overcharged and terrible customer services. Language barrier is a big deal when communicating with staff.

Awful Service! I booked my ticket a month ago, then was sent an email saying that Spirit Airline canceled the flight and gave me an option of a returning flight very late at night. I confirmed that it was ok, then after 8 days they withdraw $25 dollars without telling me there was going to fee. I did not make any changes or cancellation, will never book a ticket with them again!!! Also they hung up the call on me when I asked the reason of charging me $25. They also give you a Booking ID but not the confirmation of the airline

I booked a flight on 11/22/2021 from Rio De Janeiro to San Francisco for Jan 5th. The flight is with Copa Airlines. I paid $943.71 in total. The breakdown is as follows:-
884.72 for the ticket
$19.00 Eros Tours and Travel Inc (Agency Booking Fee)
$39.99 for Platinum Travel Assist
My fare type is economy full which allows unlimited changes at no cost. However, when I called the agency to change the flight, they told me that there was a $200 fee to change the flight. I asked them why there were fees. They said that it was the airline that had the change fees. I called the airline to verify. The airline told me that there were no such fees. I called back the agency and told them that they were providing me with misinformation. Then they said that it was a fair difference. I checked with the airline, there was no fare difference. The customer care representative at the Latinofare/AirTkt kept saying different things. When I told him that I would report to BBB, he said he would only charge $75(hidden fees) to make the flight change. He said that it was the agency fees. I also paid 39.99 for Platinum Travel Assist. On their website, it's mentioned that I could make changes to the flight free of charge (without any agency fees) if I pay for Platinum Travel Assist.

I called Latinofare to request to cancel my Refundable flight.
During the first attempt, after a 30 min hold time, I was able to talk to someone, but they could not provide the required information and they hung up the call.
During the second attempt, after a 20 min hold time, I talked with another person who said he needs to talk to the airline to find out about the cancellation details and he would call me back. I never received a callback.
After 4 hours, I called them again. And after a 20 min hold time, I talked with another person who said I will have to pay $300 to cancel the flight. I asked him to send me details about the cancellation fees. He hung up on me.
I called them again the next day. I received the same response that someone would call me back. And they never did.

It's been several days now. I haven't been able to cancel my flight. I called Latinofare again today. After being put on hold for an hour and talking to multiple agents, they told me that it was going to cost me $200 to cancel the flight as they said it was a processing fees being charged by the airline. I called the airline; they told me that the flight is fully refundable and there is no fees. The agent from Latinofare called me and asked me to pay $200 to cancel the flight. He kept saying that this was a processing fees without providing any other details.
Latinofare not only failed to provide a "Platinum Assistance" they promised to provide as mentioned in their Platinum Travel Assist terms(for which I paid $39.99), they also have been providing wrong information to me and wasting my time. I would like a refund for everything!

Absolutely horrible. if I could give zero stars I would. I got a call at the beginning of the year asking me for money to get my credit back for the trip that got canceled due to covid. Now, that I want to use my credit, I'm getting charged $300 more for "taxes" even though the trip is way cheaper than what I paid originally on their website. Never again. I'm calling the airline directly to get my flight rescheduled.
UPDATE: (to reply to the response from the owner) I contacted LATAM directly and they did not charge me extra for a "difference is fare and taxes". LATAM changed my itinerary to December 28th with no problems or extra fees. LatinOFare is such a scam.
