on multiple occasions i’ve had issues with the front desk staff. from being on hold for 45 minutes and my calls being dropped to no answer at all.

i am a previous cancer patient who has seen a lot of specialist and been to a lot of different offices as well as working for a specialists office myself, this has to be the most unorganized with incompetent staff. this office seems to always have issues with their phones. today i was 25 minutes late for my appointment because i was coming from surrey to vancouver for a 9 am appointment and out of my control there was 2 car accidents. i attempted calling them 4 times from 8:30 opening to the time of my appointment to see if i should turn around or come to my appointment and of course no answer. i get there was told to take a seat and then was informed i’d have to reschedule, there was zero attempt to fit me in or offer me a later time that day considering i drove 1.5 hr from surrey.

This is the best medical center that I have ever been.
My doctors M. De Valence and C. Feeley are wonderful. They took a really good care of me and my family.
They are very professional and kind, they always listen my concerns and have helped me.

I want to mention that this medical center has a great system. When I had an emergency, they always gave me an emergency appointment or called me by phone. There is always a phone number for emergencies during off schedule times or weekends. It made me feel really safe and calm.

All the receptionists are very kind and attentive.

Dr. John Mail is the best. I have known him since 1990. I’m lucky to be his patient. This is a fabulous medical practice. All the docs are amazing.

Dr. Janine Hardial is only available usually
on Friday mornings as she is a locum. However I’ve had the pleasure of seeing her for years now since I was pregnant on the DTES and met her at Sheway. She is the most caring and attentive doctor I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. And after conversations with my dad over in Edmonton AB, who is struggling desperately to find proper pain management for his hip, and a doctor to properly manage his file. It just makes me that much more grateful. Thank you.

My Doctor is amazing. I get the best healthcare thru this clinic. I've been going here for over 20 years (when it was at W&C Hospital) then Fairmont Building now 12 ave. The reception frustrats me you can be on hold for up to 30 min. Not cool in my book. But small price to pay for amazing doctors.

Everyone wants their health concerns addressed immediately, but with a health care system that’s stretched to the limit and one that everyone has access to, it’s impossible.

It’s not the fault of reception, the nurses, or the doctors. I’ve had my own health concerns and like everyone, I’ve been triaged. I’ve been fortunate to have Dr. Mail as my family doctor since I was born, and his attention to his patients is in a calibre of its own. Thank you! Don’t retire.

It is impossible to call without being on hold for 30 to 60 minutes and longer and then the call just drops so there goes another 45 minutes. I had to call 3 times in a row due to records that were not updated so I spent a significant time on hold.
Unfortunately the clinic is generally very disorganized and I have had referrals not being made and even a call with someone else's test results.
I have a family doctor at the clinic who I haven't seen in years as I am always booked with other doctors so there is no consistency, although I have to say that most doctors there are very helpful.
