Willowbrae Academy Etobicoke

My deepest gratitude goes to all the directors and staff, Laurie, Siji, and Val. My baby girl was in Toddler 2 with teachers Megan, Giovana and Manin. This was the first time my baby girl was separated from me, and of course, I was worried about whether she could adjust well; however, with all the help from the teachers who went beyond and beyond that, she is now such a confident baby. I am so happy and would recommend Willowbrae to anyone looking for a fantastic daycare in the neighbourhood.

Outdoor and indoor playgrounds play a significant role on rainy days; kids can play in the gym room whether it is raining or snowing. The playgrounds and classrooms are very clean, and all the teachers provide an excellent response to parents' concerns.

Our son attends Willowbrae and absolutely loves it. He loves his teachers, runs in and hugs them every morning. They have a diverse and healthy menu, from which he actually seems to eat all the food (unlike at home). He comes home knowing all sorts of new songs and skills, and talks about how much fun he has in the classroom and at playtime outside and in the rec room. The facilities are very nice and clean, and all the staff are so warm, helpful, friendly, professional and organized. We love being at Willowbrae!

Our son has been coming here since he was just under two years old. All the teachers and other staff at Willowbrae have always been so wonderful to him (and so patient/kind during those tough drop offs) and we can tell really care about the kids. We have full trust in them and appreciate how well the facility appears to be run. It's very clean (so important), the food is all made on site, and we love that there's a big indoor rec room when outdoor play isn't possible.

Willowbrae is amazing - I am so thankful that we are part of the Willowbrae family. All of the staff are so friendly and caring, they genuinely love and care for all of the kids. My son is learning so fast there and I know is getting delicious and nutritious food everyday! He loves going there everyday to see his friends and teachers.

My son has been attending Willowbrae since 18 months old, first in the toddler room and now in preschool. He has learned so much during his time there and looks forward to seeing all his friends and teachers. The staff truly care for him, and I have the utmost trust that he is well loved and safe.

Communication between classroom staff, administration, and families is excellent. Moreover, staff have been very supportive of any transitions along the way (i.e. toilet training, dropping nap).

We cannot recommend Willowbrae enough!

The staff are amazing and the facilities are well cared for. I’ve had two kids enrolled here (graduated preschool and toddler) and both kids genuinely loved going to “school” every day.

The staff work hard to ease transitions and make each day really fun while providing a loving/ nurturing environment. Every child gets a big welcome at drop off and as a parent you feel like your kid is seen and in good hands.

I have to add that it seems like the early education is excellent as well. We’ve noticed our kids identifying feelings and sayings things like, “I can do hard things”.

Plus they eat up better than at home and get great nutrition.

I don’t think you can do better than Willowbrae.

My daughter has been at Willowbrae since she turned 1 and it has been an amazing place for both us and her. She loves her teachers and classmates and comes home with new skills and words constantly. She loves going to daycare and sharing all the things she made there with us. We are also very relieved to have full trust in the staff there who supply us with daily reports, feedback and are responsive to our requests and needs. The kids are served healthy meals and get lots of constructive outdoor play time. We're very happy to be at Willowbrae and our daughter is, too.
