We stopped here for early morning and stayed the day, relaxed and went to explore, many wonderful things to see and do, we swam in the river at the temperature was just right.

One of our favourites still after 39 years. To those grubs who leave their rubbish behind, I say STAY HOME.

Tranquility at its finest
FWD and tents only, as the road in is probably a bit too narrow for a caravan or RV
Drop toilets and plenty of flat surfaces to camp on.
The fish were even jumping for joy!
Stayed for two nights.
Was a beautiful place to unwind

Stopped for lunch, had the area for ourselves on a cold day in July. We pulled out the BBQ and cooked up some snags. Lit a fire for warmth in one of the existing scars. Definitely one of the better spots along the bridle track.

Off the beaten track (very beaten) 4wd only, but thats what make it great only the real adventurous types make the run and camp, heaps of free camp spots, 4-5 drop box dunnies for the ladies along the track, fires OK, heaps of wild life and birds singing to wake upto even with a hangover, water level is fairly low and must pack your own for drinking . Heaps of beautiful spots to enjoy, all very different plus the chance of getting gold fossicking or panning. Track is very rough with very steep drop offs (no guard railing) take it slow and take it all in, plenty of history here with many gold rush man-made mine caves to explore (if your keen) also police did visit and breath test some 4wd drivers due to history of accidents on the mountain.

Just an excellent place to go camping. Plenty of room, nice shady areas and a place to swim. Also got a pit toilet just up the hill.

Stunning area to camp with a really good drop toilet -just make sure you close the lid!

Clean Up after yourself and don't throw glass or metal in the fire.
