OGONG BBQ Lidcombe

We picked the option that cost nearly $200 for 4 tiny adults and one child.comes with side salads. Somehow the experience leave us quite underwhelmed.despite top up salads, the food that were presented wasn't enough for us so we have to order more and drinks on top that makes things not value for money. I don't think I'll be back.

Great staff and great food. The pork belly and kimchi set was amazing highly recommend it!

6pm on a Saturday night and the place wasn’t too crowded.
The beef was good quality, tender and juicy.
The galbijjim was also good, the meat was falling off the bone and taste was well balanced.

Let down would be the pork belly as it was just primarily fat with very little meat.

The servers definitely turn on the gas fire to heat the charcoal too high, we had flames leaping up before we even put anything on the grill. Please turn it down and adjust to your liking before starting.

Best Korean bbq ever. Love OGONG set and wagyu set so much. Ogong set is for 3-4 people and wagyu set is for 2 people and quality is very good.
We ordered wagyu set this time and my 3 years old son ate most of ribeye steak. It’s so tender and absolutely yummy. The price is very reasonable. We all enjoyed the food and service and will come back soon again.

Very busy place at night so the service can be a little slow to get to you because the staff are running around but the food is good.

Had the pork and beef set for two and it was just right.
Loved the soy sauce salad dip with the bbq.

Very nice place to have the traditional Korean BBQ. 5 stars recommend.
Sauce not salty just right seasoning, meat quality is good.

There was one Korean staff member in the kitchen, while the rest were Nepalese or other foreign workers, who all did their jobs well without needing much direction.
The meat was decent, and the stew was good too.
The dining area was full, and I would go back again if I wanted to have meat.
I hope Korean restaurants continue to do well.
