Good playground for the kids. 2-3 areas for kids to play. Plenty of cockatoo’s around and kangaroos will often congregate around here after 5pm. Too much kangaroo droppings to place a picnic blanket. But plenty of picnic tables.

Nice Park to Relax… Except too much Kangaroo Droppings… Public Toilets & Water available…

Awesome equipment, lots of bins, taps and seating for the parents whilst the kids play!

It's nice playground with a variety of equipment for kids of all ages. There are a lot of picnic tables nearby where you can bring your food, enjoy the view and let kids run amok. The shops and eateries are just across the road which makes it very convenient and very busy especially during public holidays. It's hard to find a parking nearby though there are plenty of dedicated parking places. Also, since the area is full of people on e-bikes and cycles and kids running, you need to be careful when driving or parking.
There are couple of issues though which I noticed. The garbage bins were overflowing since it was public holiday and rubbish was just spilling nearby. The public toilets are nice but the wet toilet tissues were just dumped on the floor which was disgusting. Also there was no soap which is almost criminal during current pandemic time.
If the council takes care of these minor issues, this place could become even better and safer for everyone.

Although the playground is not that big, there are enough facilities and my kids find lots of fun there.

We come here quite often with grandchildren. They love the playground. Great range of play equipment. However....the surrounding area could do with some attention. I have no doubt that these areas are tidied up, just not often enough. We live nearby and if one visits through the week, the area is tidy enough. But on weekends it is a different story. Then there is usually rubbish everywhere. Because the bins are usually overflowing with rubbish, there is more rubbish scattered all over the ground around them. The toilets on weekends too, we have often found to be absolutely filthy! There needs to be soap available too. This prevents disease! Not good enough! Visitors must get a very poor impression. I imagine it would be a substantial cost to employ weekend staff but these areas need regular attention on weekends and public holidays. We need to attract visitors not discourage them from returning!

The park is littered with so much poop. Its disgusting. The play equipment isn't in the best condition either. Little bits broken and quite dirty. Its a shame as halls gap is otherwise such a beautiful place. The rocking horse is the only thing that appeared clean. There are many slides but it's definitely suited for older kids.
