The cafe is located in a popular plaza. Parking was tight. But the place is clean and the seatings are pleasant looking. Staff was quick to respond. I had high hopes walking in.
Unfortunately, the food didn"t live up to expectation. Baked pork chop on rice never went in the oven. The chop is void of the usual crispy coating, hence lacking the signature texture. A side dish of steamed greens not listed in the menu was charged $12 which is pretty excessive compared to most noodle houses. Sadly, will have to find another HK style cafe next time in the area.

I had a quick lunch here on weekday. It was quiet and not many customers. Service is normal. Only the table is wood and will make any noise when food is brought on it. There is no condiments on the table even though I don't need it. There are many choices on the menu and priced fair. (see my photo) I had the rice noodle with stewed beef and tendon that was not the traditional spicy style, rather a clear broth style that I am much preferred. The tendons were just perfect texture. There is enough amount of beef and tendon for me (photo is taken half way eating) but not enough vegetables.

Revised after pandemic. It seems to be brighter. Food is better than my expectations. Fair price. It has classic Hong Kong style deep fried chicken, which is quite good.

Quite disappointed about the beef tendon noodle soup. Not like how it was cooked before. Barely any taste. The Hong Kong style milk tea is still the same.

Food overall was good. The fried chicken was really crispy yet juicy. They serve Hongkong cafe food, which can be a blend of western and Chinese food. A good place to get baked rice dishes. They have an extensive menu with many options. My favourite dish of the night was the pork chop in rose sauce.

The restaurant is kind of decorated. The seating arrangement is pretty roomy. Food quality is average as well as service. They will only serve when you ask for salt and pepper or chilly oil. I think it is a good practice rather than leaving everything on the table, but it will definitely add more load to the server.
The menu is carrying great varieties from snacks to main dishes, and the price is reasonable. I found that it is the only restaurant that doesn't raise the price after the pandemic. At the price, it is recommended.

Lots of choices for a Hong Kong style restaurant. It's not super authentic as other Hong Kong style ones but not bad at all. I'll go back again. Prices were good.
Lots of people ordered a hot pot dish with burning stove under it. Looked very nice.
The Russian borsch soup was too sour, the spaghetti looked like what I would make/boil at home.

The fried chicken leg is always crispy, juicy, cooked perfectly, big in size and delicious, which I think it’s the best Hong Kong style fried chicken leg in Toronto by far. Black pepper or garlic sauce is good. Choose rice or spaghetti. The cold red bean drink never disappoint me.
The partition separating tables make me feel safe to eat there.
The washrooms are outdated and recommend to be cleaned more often.
