Really disappointed, have been going here for years and enjoyed it every time and decided to book new years eve 2023 to reign in the new year with some good music. Music turned out to be pretty lame this time around, hardly any emo music, all more old songs from 80s and 90s which killed the vibe and to top it off, when I booked it stated £2 drinks all night. Lo and behold I get there and order some round of drinks which came to £42.50 for 5 drinks!!!! Bartender overcharged and I tapped without being able to see the screen and to my own fault i didnt check the price, and when asking why it wasn't £2 drinks she laughed in my face. I found that since I had booked the tickets, the event page had removed the £2 drink comment from the page for new years eve. Very disappointed, and have reported to trading standards for fraud and false advertising. Disappointed to have spent nearly £20 a ticket only to have my night ruined.

Its okay. Its great that they are keeping metal alive, since the metal scene in Brighton died down a long time ago which makes me sad. Atmosphere is really inclusive.

Door staff are really pleasant and they get rid of people who may be seen to be ruining the night through being too drunk, really quickly which is positive.

Downfall is that they don't cater for people who don't drink alcohol, the que for the bar is ridiculous and bar staff actively ignore people who have clearly been waiting for ages. It took me 45 minutes to get a cup of water! I didn't bother trying to get another cup and left. The que may have been more worth it if I could purchase non-alcoholic beer but they don't. Not everyone has to get smashed to have a good time!

Essentially I got bored and left.

Ignore the bad reviews, I have been going here for years and can happily confirm they are not true. The music is awesome, always a great variety, amazing themed nights, and everyone is super friendly! How can anyone complain when the drinks are so cheap and it's a fun atmosphere??? THE BEST NIGHT OUT THERE IS.

Apocalypse is a really fun night out no matter where it’s held - via the streams throughout Lockdown or in a venue somewhere in the U.K. I’ve seen this night grow, diversify and adapt in the years since it was born in a tiny basement club in Poole Valley, Brighton - everyone involved should be proud! Yes, it can be a little cliquey at first but honestly that’s the same for every non-mainstream night, so it doesn’t affect the numbers of stars I’m giving. DJs are awesome, doorstaff are friendly, I love this night!

Had an amazing first night out since clubs closed. There were a number of cool ideas that had been implemented to make it a really enjoyable evening despite the covid restrictions. The music was great and there was a really welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely go to the next one!

Fantastic club night! Diverse and welcoming! If you love the familiar vibe of ALL the Alt anthems, you will love this! Dress code is whatever you want it to be, dress extreme or low key, you'll feel comfortable either way!
