As an avid biker, the Jordan River Trail has quickly become my favorite spot for a ride. Starting from West Jordan and making my way to Bluffdale has been an incredible journey, and I can’t wait to explore the entire trail.

The trail itself is a biker’s dream. It’s well-maintained and offers a smooth, enjoyable ride with just the right amount of challenge to keep things interesting. The scenic beauty along the Jordan River is simply breathtaking. Whether it’s the lush greenery, the sparkling water, or the occasional wildlife sightings, there’s always something new and captivating to see.

One of the things I love most about the Jordan River Trail is the sense of peace it brings. Despite being so close to urban areas, the trail feels like a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It’s the perfect place to clear your mind and just enjoy the simple pleasure of biking.

The people you meet along the way are another highlight. Fellow bikers, walkers, and runners are always friendly and respectful, creating a wonderful community vibe. There’s a shared appreciation for the trail that’s palpable and makes every ride even more enjoyable.

I’ve started my rides in West Jordan and made it to Bluffdale, and each stretch of the trail has its unique charm. The well-marked paths and scenic overlooks make it easy to stay on track and fully immerse yourself in the experience. I’m eagerly looking forward to the day when I can say I’ve biked the entire trail from start to finish.

In short, the Jordan River Trail is a gem for any biker. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and full of friendly faces. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just looking for a pleasant ride, this trail has something to offer. Highly recommended for anyone who loves the outdoors and a great biking adventure!

A pretty decent trail. Look closely at the murky river and you may spot a massive carp lurking on the river bed.

One of the nicest trails I have ever had the privilege of riding on. Protected and separate from motorists. Amazing river views- it better than riding the SW of England. Absolutely love this trail. You will not see many people on your adventure. Ride hundreds of miles and explore your surroundings safely.

I have been going to the Jordan River Trail for years. It is a very nice place for walking, to running or to get away from the city for a little. It is in the middle of the cities that crosses but being in the trail makes you feel like you are are away. I don’t like how abandoned it is on the northern side starting at 4500 South. There are some sketchy areas and it seems like it is visited by homeless and addicts.
