Williamstown Beach West end car park

Nice beach, gets quite windy but depends what time of year you go. Car park shouldn’t have to pay for. Has nice bbq areas also. Not a bad beach to go and spend the day

Parking is terrible, no matter how many times they fix it. The water is not the cleanest being in the bay. Kids band aids floating in the water with all the rubbish and no room to swim and enjoy your day out.
The beach gets very busy with no places for shade or to get changed unless you walk 500m to a public toilet. One small kiosk located near the street, but doesn't have as much as it used to back in the 80s and 90s. A lot of improvements could be made to this beach besides more signs going up. It's not the same beach I loved all those years ago for so long.

Best place for picnic with kids

Fishing, swimming, sunbathing, walking the dogs, cycling, jogging or park your cars. There are rocks at the beach nearby. Good for families. Beware of the sun.

If you are looking for a lovely white sandy beach with breaking waves, this isn't it...but you're in Melbourne so this is as good as it gets. Great for young kids. Parking is expensive unless you know the secret ones.

One of the best and beautiful beaches⛱️ in Victoria ❤️. My opinion is everyone should visit this place at least once. Parking 🅿️ is very big and good. The best part is if the weather ☁️ is bad we can sit inside the car and enjoy the beautiful view 😀 of this beach🏖️ reason is we can park the car very near to the sea. Walking through the stone's 🪨 to the sea is an amazing experience. Also can see big ship's passing aswell. Another good setup I have noticed is the benches for having the food which is sea facing is an amazing 🤩 experience. Spectacular views from all the ways and I have seen couple of people swimming🏊‍♀️ on the sea shore aswell. Not very crowded when I was there. There is a subway and a fish & chips shops near(2km) to this beach. Good place👍 to visit with the family👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 and friends.
