Magnificent building
Nothing interesting inside
They charge money for taking pictures inside, but there is nothing to photograph there.

Entrance is allowed for donation if security is in good mood. Be polite and friendly to get in, please. Usually the entrance is closed, so you need to ask.

Beautiful place to visit. I am blessed to get to see a short performance.

Guards demand money or no entry. It was sketchy and felt unsafe and not legit. We left. Not sure if this is usual or a scam but they ened a more formal ticket entry if it is necessary. Outside has some nice info about the building itself.
This synagogue is just awesome. It's beautiful. There was some orchestra having a rehearsal when I entered. Jews of Serbia definitely need more that kind of places.

As a New York jew, I had complicated feelings. A bit sad this is no longer used for services BUT so happy that Serbia and Novi Sad have decided to maintain it. As a concert venue, this may very well be one of my favorite places I've ever seen a concert (it helped that the musicians were fantastic). The acoustics were exceptional. I look forward to visiting again.
