I had a surgery here by my doctor who operates out of St. Agnes. My doctor is amazing, but out of the St. Agnes employees there was one nurse that stuck out. She was my post op nurse (not sure the proper terminology, but she took care of me from the time I woke up from surgery until she escorted us out of the hospital on a wheelchair. I just wanted to say that she is an amazing nurse, one of those rare people born to to this type or career. She is the best nurse I have ever had in my life, and that will stick with me for years to come. Our health care crisis would solved if every nurse had the same bedside manner, knowledge, personality and skill as her. So BIG ups to Shannon at Ascension St Agnes Hospital.

I can honestly say I’ve been in the hospital more times than I can count, this is my 1st time at this one. The nurses (most of them) were Great. But I have been lied to I can’t count how many times at this hospital. Unless I am dying please don’t bring me here ever again. Worse hospital I’ve been too in my life

Treatment is pretty good but the wait times are horrendous. It's currently 2:18am and I arrived give or take around 10:30pm. No sign of me being treated for COVID, they know I have a fever and just need paxlovid. I'm tempted to just go home, this is ridiculous.

The same happened when I had the flu months ago, I was severely dehydrated and had to wait an absurdly long time to be seen.

I'm expecting that it'll be probably 5am before I'm seen, it's absurdly slow here.

EDIT: It's 4:34am and I haven't spoken to a doctor. I expect to be stuck here after 7am.

Labor and delivery was a great experience. Every nurse, doctor, and even cleaning staff was so friendly and responsive to our needs. The lactation help was great as well. The 4 stars was for the discharge process which seemed a little disorganized and slow- we could have gone home hours earlier. But overall a nice experience and I really appreciate the staff!

Some things don’t ever change. Perhaps you need to spend some of your profits and hire people to answer the phones with proper phone etiquette (problem 1).

Sounds like they like to fast track you to treat the symptom instead of finding the root cause just to get you back in the door again. A little problem can end up being a significant problem and I have seen this happen many times with patients. My spouse was transferred from a facility for some concerning symptoms and unfortunately this was the closest facility. I tried calling the ER twice and finally got someone the second time who told me she was not allowed to release any information. He was in ‘another part of the ER’. I asked, ‘well why don’t you ask the patient if they’d like to release the information?’ to a spouse, for example. I am told they’re not allowed to do that-well how else are they going to know? (Can you imagine if you have a disabled or demented family member here?!!). If they’re feeling bad in your facility they’re not going to just tell someone ‘hey, can I sign for release?’ I am told that is registration’s issue but that ‘they’re running labs and he’s going to be discharged, have a nice day!’ (Click). This is unacceptable-I’ve already communicated to the medical staff at the facility if the problem persists then send him to John’s Hopkins (my first choice). I am SO disgusted.

As a health care professional I would have liked to have spoken to a service provider and questioned about what was being done because I could have included important information my spouse might leave out in order to help figure out what’s going on. Therefore it’s my opinion poor patient advocacy (problem 2) and they do not try to include the family (problem 3). They just want frequent fliers for profit. They’ll put a bandaid on the problem, but that’s it! Not recommended.

Great experience at St Agnes Hospital. I was in for a pretty major surgery and everyone was
Very kind, caring and thorough with me. My room was clean, the nurses were amazing. The entire hospital seemed to work a family and team. I was very nervous about my stay, but it was absolutely as great as it could be for a hospital stay.

Perfect place to deliver your baby! From Birthing center to Postpartum Center, From nursing staff to doctors, from lactation experts to cooks in the kitchen everyone was so kind and helpful. I got admitted to get induced for my first baby, as it was my first baby I had a lot of problems with latching and everyone was always running to help whenever I asked for it. The sofa bed they offer for your partner is decent sized too. They even gave my husband extra sheets and bunch of pillows too. Maintenance was also 10/10. Highly Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
