I can only give 2 stars and that is only because
Dr. Steiner-Larsen is a fine doctor. However, the administrative end is in shambles.. After one appointment I was left just hanging in the exam room after the Doctor was finished, Waited and waited for someone to come back and make the next appointment and give me a written summary of my visit. Never happened. I voiced my concern and Vanessa did call me back and assured me it was a training mistake and asked to me to give them another chance. She then asked me if my next appointment was ok and I told her was not informed that another appointment had been scheduled. But I agreed to give them another chance. So today I called to make a pre op appointment, they told me the next available appointment with Dr. Larson was December 27th! My surgery is in October! When I tried to explain this to the appointment desk they told me I may have to go to Patient First!!!! Finally after much much unnecessary back and forth I was finally "fit in" with another Doctor for my Pre Op. This is not a tailor shop this is a DOCTORS OFFICE!! I was told they have to follow "PROTOCOL". Who the hell comes up with these policies or PROTOCOL? I was told they are down 2 doctors. Training issues etc. Excuses excuses. Other than my bi-annual physical, it is impossible to get an appointment with the doctor. It also seems that since I am now on Medicare, there is much less time for Doctor-Patient interaction. 15 minutes or less and it is time to go. When Dr. Steiner-Larsen worked in a private practice, the staff always found time to a schedule an appointment for me with either her or one of the other doctors. I will be looking for a new doctor as it has become impossible to schedule an appointment with front desk. It seems as if there is constant turnover on the staff which makes for a very very stressful situation for us seniors. To Vanessa, I gave you another chance but this time was even worse than the last time. Ascension Saint Agnes Health Care has taken a down turn from the fine facility it used to be.

Dr. Steiner-Larsen is a great doctor; however, the front desk a disgrace. Anytime you call to make an an impromptu appointment, they tell you to call Urgent Care. Other than my bi-annual physical, it is impossible to get an appointment with the doctor. The front desk does not even attempt to fit you into the doctor’s schedule. When Dr. Steiner-Larsen worked in a private practice, the staff always found time to a schedule an appointment for me with either her or one of the other doctors. I have had to go to Urgent Care anytime I was suddenly I’ll and needed to see a doctor. Unfortunately, I will be looking for a new doctor as it has become possible to schedule an appointment with front desk. They are nothing but a bunch of puppets.

The nursing assistant who took me and my husband to the exam room was very nice and friendly. I'm sorry that I can't remember her name. Also the receptionist was very friendly. Both my husband and I really like Dr Siyal. He actually takes the time to talk to you and doesn't constantly look at his laptop when he is talking.

The staff here is always welcoming from the front desk staff, nurse, doctor, to the phlebotomist! Needles are a huge fear of mine so I definitely have to say my phlebotomist I’ve had twice and she made me very comfortable. My nurse is always in good spirits and is helpful. I love my doctor she’s very professional but also down to earth !
Thank you all 💕
Thank you all 💕

It seems there is no time for patient doctor relationships since the doctor has to multitask. Apps are around 15 minutes at best. One can not get to understand the patient unless I write a letter. My anguish comes from suffering a long time from an old horse injury.
Also,as a child I had physical and verbal abuse both at home and in school.
I was born with a learning disability and had to endure sessions back in the 50 and 60'. There was no such thing as guidance counselors in school.
Things have changed.
In the last 6 years I dealt with the stress of Trump as president with the pandemic. Anyone dealing in life knows about being depressed during those times. So does the whole country go on medication and see a psychiatrist?
I know who I am and I know I am okay being who I am as God loves me for me. My trials and tribulations are a learning experience while here on Earth. I have a strong spiritual believe.
My doctor was chosen after I almost died Christmas week. My other doctor of 22 years closed his business. I was spoiled by his empathy and the amount of time he spent with me and his patients. He was never on a clock. Dr. Birchess is a kind and gentle Christian who retired. He was one of a kind and you do not get that anymore from any doctor.
I hope as time continues my doctor gets to understand me better.

I love my physician, Dr. Christopher. She is so wonderful and kind. She takes the time to talk to you and really listen to you. The staff are wonderful and so pleasant. I asked them all the time "Do they take nice test to work here".

I was pleased with Dr. Kinder's care. One exception, she didn't send an Rx needed to treat my chief complaint. I pointed that out to the receptionist, she said she would ask her as soon as she was available. THAT CLEARLY DIDN'T HAPPEN, as I was left without medication. As my foot swelling continued, I had to by an OTC diuretic.
If your staff can't be trusted to ask a doctor on behalf of your patient, WHY bother being seen? I could have gone the OTC route without being seen.
