Nice hiking trails; there are three small beaches where you can launch kaya and paddle board. The quality of the beach is not very good. There aren’t many motor boats and the water is calm, good for SUB. The flush washrooms are a luxury.

I was pleasantly surprised by this park. I must have driven past it a hundred times but this time my family decided to spend an afternoon here and it did not disappoint. The hiking trails were interesting, taking maybe an hour to walk. The beach is one of the most sheltered ones there is in the park system. The beach had great sand plus it was quite warm due to the shallowness of the bay it is in. I would definitely recommend stopping here for the day. Staying overnight is another story.

sixmilelakeprovincialpark was amazing! First off- the registration staff were extremely friendly and so helpful- even drew on a map so I could find the site easily. We opted for water front which unfortunately was a walk in site (30m down hill) but my kids did so well going up and down. the site itself was right on the water (not the best for swimming as it was marshy) but we loved fishing right at our site and kids loved the frogs! (Except the one that tried to hop into their tent). The beaches are nicely groomed, after swimming we had a nice fire, hot tea and star gazed while we listened to the frogs and gentle water current sing. What a great trip. Would definitely recommend and we are definitely going back again!
The whole park has paved roadway/walk way. All the beaches have accessible parking and some pathways but no mobimat. The swimming areas are roped off nicely. The docks are nice and there's an abundance of rental boats. The comfort station and outhouse both had accessible stalls.

Nice park with small beach area. Cannons, Kayak and pedal boats were great. Very clear blue water around. I wish there was a way to remove highway traffic noise from the background which ruins the experience.

More of a trailer park than a provincial park.
Open sites with very few trees.
Right off the highway which you hear all night. Beaches are not very good. Swampy and lots of geese...
Washrooms and showers in poor condition.
Laundry is located outside.
Water pressure at fill station took 30 minutes to fill a small trailer.
Nice park store though.

Sites are nice. Lake is beautiful. The biggest fault is the noise. Highway 400 noise morning and night. Glad we have a trailer with AC to drain the highway noise out at night. The lake while picturesque is full of jetskis and tubers. Annoying if you're trying to chill and kayak, paddleboard, fish or enjoy quiet time away on the water. Lots of islands where high powered boats pulling tubes full of children go in-between the narrows going full speed. A few times I'd thought, does that guy see me? Is he paying attention to driving? Playing on his phone...drinking a beer? Definitely not in our top 5 provincial parks, but we enjoyed our time here.

Tons of great sites, all the lakes have a great view, although not the best swimming. The staff were friendly and helpful! Showers were very clean, and bathrooms well stocked and clean as well! We had a good stay!

It is a campers paradise, some of the lake view sites could be most campers dream sites. The park was not very busy in late May. A couple of nice trails. Clean washrooms.
