Their stewed beef noodles were very delicious. The beef was well cooked and flavorful. The broth was tasty. The service was good.
The eel claypot rice was cooked perfectly, it was flavorful, the crust bits at the bottom was tasty. The signature duck was fruity and flavorful. The greens were garlicky and full of flavors. The pork stomach and chicken soup was a little too peppery to my liking. The service was attentive and efficient. The vibes were more like some place in Hongkong.
Did the sixteen mile creek loop, it was about 6 km. Also did a side trail, along a ridge descending to the valley and climbing back, alot elevation changes. The trail on the north of creek was more scenic . Beautiful fall colors. Pretty busy even on a weekday.
First of all, the 4 hours limit is ridiculous, I thought we paid the day use per person and parking in full. The views were so breathtaking that you do not want to leave. you would envy your south boarder neighbors whose entrance passes per vehicle are valid for 5 days in their national parks. The trail was pretty easy until getting to the Grotto.
Very large a park, a lot of trails. To be exact 116 trails, according to Alltrails. We just did a detour on our way from Moncton to Saint John, added about 100km to our original trip. Spent a couple of hours there, just picked up a few spots from the park map to visit. A beautiful park.
