I love the ambience! we actually went here because of the good reviews & high star reviews!
we had the oysters, beef brisket, calamari & bang bang prawns. Unfortunately everything didn’t meet our expectation (fried stuffs were too oily, too salty, weird taste and smell for oysters)☹️
but service from the girl was very nice & lovely!

The food just insane, Expensive but worth every cent. Don’t bother reading any reviews, just go!
We had lunch on a Saturday and it was super chill, the vibe is so relaxed at lunch.
Service was awesome, friendly staff and quick food delivery.
We had the brisket and some Disco Fries with pulled Pork shoulder. The Brisket just melted in our mouths, no need for any sauce because it just tasted phenomenal. The fries were euphoric, the cheese with the spring onion and pork was delicious but the star of the fries show was the bone marrow gravy, OMG!

My boyfriend and I talked about this place a few times, but we always used to forget to go there. Today, we were starving after fasting all day, and we finally remembered it. The best decision we made! Everything was amaaazing, we ordered a plate for two plus the potatoes (the best potatoes ever)! It was more than enough for us; even after fasting all day, we couldn’t finish it! 10/10 ⭐️ We’re definitely coming back again soon!
The best beef brisket I have ever eaten, and I’ve eaten a lot across the globe!! You have to order the beef sausages, Brussels sprouts and pork lardons too. Beautiful pistachio tart too. Highly impressed. Thanks chef!!

Has anyone been to @meatworksco in south melbourne ? I literally stumbled upon this place because I took a wrong turn going to an appointment otherwise I wouldn’t have even known that it exists! That’s my bad cos the food was so yummy!
We ordered the oysters (yum and very well priced 12 for $35), chicken wings (not sure why there are two random carrots in it 😂), the Meatworks platter which is obviously the pièce de résistance - so many different kinds of meats… they are all pretty delicious, but the highlight is the chicken drumstick (smoked), sausages and their pork ribs.
There are some small disappointments though if I had to be brutally honest- the platter, while delicious, was missing something to cut through the richness of the meat. And now that I thought about it, I think they were supposed to be served with pickles… but they must have forgotten it 😢. Thank goodness I did order the cabbage salad w capers, which really helped.
The other small disappointment was the fries wasn’t hot- how I was longing for freshly cooked fries!
Lastly, I am not sure whether it was a very busy night or whether they were short staffed but the tables were not cleared, the bottle of Ajax is left in the middle shared table, water are not refilled. Small things but it all make an impression, a not so good one at that, although the service was friendly enough.
That being said the meat was so good I reckon we will be back again soon- hopefully for a 10/10 experience!

Got the ribs, corn, wings & some chips. Tasty. good portion and priced roughly about market rates (so not overpriced). i'll be back to try other dishes.
That was amazing, I'm so happy i went to Meatworks Co last week and enjoyed there many options of meat. The service was friendly, nice and fast. The different seating areas were also great and cosy.
Pricing is good, the menu is big, the food is perfect, the service is great. Recommended
