The dinner menu at the Royal Oak Hotel is excellent. A great variety of fresh, well-prepared dishes, perfect for a midday meal. Generous portions, quick service, and fantastic flavors. Highly recommend...!!!

We had dinner here for a birthday on Friday night. Service was friendly and responsive. We ordered the Kangaroo, Steak, Pasta, Squid, kids meals, desserts. Overall we spent about $55 per person including drinks, which is good value for money in my humble opinion. Now the surprise to us was how well presented and delicious everything was. It really felt like a special dinner. The Kangaroo was cooked perfectly and the best we had all had. Everyone tried it. We all shared all the food around.
Big plus was parking was easy and the acoustics are very good, meaning that it is calm and you can actually have a conversation. It also meant that the kids were calmer and participated. The ocean view is obviously unique.
Our kids asked if we can now go at least once a month and we negotiated them down to once every two months. My 8 year old told the waitress he gives it 5 out of 5.

Directly across from Broadbeach a prime location to sit and enjoy a beverage or meal. The venue offers a great selection of affordable meals, cocktails and other beverages. Options for alfresco dining, bar tables or seating that can accompany small or large groups. This is a Family friendly club that caters for everyone. The decor is a mixture between a relaxed tropical holiday resort light and breezy with a coastal feel and pub. It also has a sports bar with large screens including a pokie room hidden out back. The staff are attentive and friendly, the wait time for food is always good regardless of how busy the venue is. The manager has popped out on two occasions asking if our meals were good and if we needed anything. Highly recommended this venue it caters for everyone.
I used to come to Mermaid Tavern years ago and hadn’t visited in a long time. I recently visited with a friend and I love the updates; it looks so fresh and clean. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I was disappointed that you cannot swap chips and salad for mash and vegetables, and I feel the price for extra mash and vegetables is very high. I would come more often if this option was available.
Good place not to far from Suncorp Stadium. Has the essentials you need like Coles and takeaway places. Also has a cinema complex as well.

On the 11th of April my husband and I got married and we had our reception at Hamptons City Beach.
In the lead up to the wedding, Fiona was extremely helpful with all of the planning. Fiona went well and beyond to make it sure it was a special day for all of our guests and was happy to answer any questions I had.
The food was incredible! All of our guests at the wedding were very impressed with the quality of the food. Many even said it was one of the best weddings they had been to.
The atmosphere at Hamptons is very relaxing and romantic, especially when the sun is setting. The staff were all extremely accommodating and happy to help us with any questions we had.

Many times have drinks here, today first time we had lunch here, wow, fantastic service and dishes, very fresh fish and creative combination with chinese green veggie and prawn dumplings, delicious!!! Service girls are professional and friendly, we love here absolutely! Good price high quality food amazing ocean view, nothing could be better! Highly recommend!
We went here on a Friday afternoon and it was surprisingly empty but began to fill up as we left. The atmosphere is what drew us in. You’re sitting in the heart of the market with all the hustle and bustle going on around you. Loved it. Service was fantastic. If they’re not busy the owner (?) will strike up a conversation with you and he’s super fun. The food is divine and crafted with such care; made to order. Served fast, too. I wish we had time to try everything — the people next to us had the mussels and they looked like perfection! We had the roasted cauliflower (the only thing I could possibly deduct points from would be this since it didn’t come with a sauce and I felt it needed one) and the fish & chips. Damn, I wish we could’ve tried more. Next time, Adelaide! Next time.

All of the glorious vibes of La Boqueria right here in Adelaide. Couldn’t have asked for a better date night. Normally, I’d be nervous when there are so many cuisines under one roof, but everything was delicious, the wine list was awesome and reasonably priced, the service was on point and the atmosphere fun.
Used to shop here all the time but now you have to swipe a credit card to get in. As someone who never carries a card anymore and just uses my watch, it’s hugely inconvenient to try and get your arm into position to be scanned. Most other shops use number plate recognition. Nearly everyone I know has now said they are not shopping there any longer because of this stupid system.
Got ripped off with parking. We entered during the day and didn't see any event parking signs. Parking was $40 for the day. When we left Friday night, signs were everywhere saying $75 for event parking. The worst part was when we left, and we got charged for the event and normal parking, so $115 total. What a joke. For the rest of the Magic round, we parked at Darling and Co., a better location and only $40 a day.
All my visits to this shopping centre were for dinners in the restaurants. Haven't got time to explore the shops because they only provide 2 hours free parking which is never enough even just for my dining. It costed $20 for 3 hour (or one extra hour) parking, which is a bit crazy and is a great resistance to my future visits.
My partner and I went here for a dinner last night, highly commendable! Yummy quality food. Will surely come back for more. Also wanna try the seafood soup looks amazing but we were too full after the chef's special tapas and Prawn Pasta. So delish!
My friends and I stopped by the Mermaid Beach Tavern straight after our flight to the Gold Coast landed. We weren't initially impressed by the downstairs bar and gaming room when we came in through the side entrance, but the upstairs area is beautifully designed and very spacious. I particularly liked the greenery, both real and fake, in the dining areas and the steam punk style light fixtures in the bar area. The Tavern serves regular pub fare as well as pizzas, burgers, pasta and grill. We ordered off the $18 lunch specials list, which turned out to be good value. The crispy skin salmon bowl and the pork and fennel bangers and mash were good and the service was pretty quick.
Love this pub's food! It's exactly what you want from a pub. Tasty, filling, and perfect with a pint. The lamb shank is unreal. Must try..!!!
This pub is my new favorite spot for drinks! Love the selection of beers, wines, and cocktails, all without breaking the bank. This place has got something for everyone. Plus, the happy hour deals are unbeatable.

Amazing food, with even better service. The staff went above and beyond to cater for our family of 5. The meals were large and incredibly good value for money. When we visit Melbourne again, we will definitely come back!
We went on a family dinner night and was quite dissatisfied with the quality of food and selection. The quality of meats was not good especially the “wagyu” and pork belly which is the main thing about Korean bbq. For the price of $47 pp it didn’t include drinks or dessert. Selection was very poor as they had very little to offer. Overall wouldn’t recommend this place for the price.
Tried to book a booth here for family member with special needs. She is in a wheelchair and a booth is the only spacious area that accommodates her chair.
Staff on phone were not helpful.
They said to wait 5-10min on the day and see if a booth will be available on the night for her.

We were visiting our adult daughter in Sydney and went to Manta for dinner to celebrate my husband birthday. It was divine. The food, the ambiance, the staff - everything. It’s under new ownership and management and they’re going above and beyond !!!! We definitely recommend it !
We hired the Gypsy room at Croydon Lane for my husband’s 50th and had the best night! Thank you Daz & team for going above & beyond to ensure that we had a fabulous time. The ambience, food & service was excellent. We were lucky enough to have an amazing duo play on the night which made it even more special. Would highly recommend.

Too expensive to have so little variety. There were about 5 types of meat and 4 types of seafood, one type of rice and one type of noodle. The price ($47) does not include drinks or dessert.

Such a beautiful spot to enjoy dinner with the family not overly loud and kid friendly. Food was amazing 👏 and service was quick. Staff were polite and very happy to serve. Bar staff were top notch 👌.

Food was absolutely amazing and so was our server. We had who I assume to be the manager stand at the end of our table and speak over myself and my partner so speak to the cooks which we found extremely rude, and when we asked a question he ignored us. He finally asked what drinks we wanted and we gave our order. Our server then came over and asked for our order as he never put it in. He seemed to micromanage the servers as if they didn’t know what they were doing. All servers were great and amazing at there jobs. No need for him to be in charge if he treats his servers as if they are useless. Unprofessional.
We had a perfect dinner in every respect. Lovely location, buzzy vibe, comfortable seating, attentive service and sensational food. Everything was super fresh, expertly prepared and enjoyable to eat. You rarely get all these characteristics together but Manta nails it.

Beautiful location right on city beach ⛱️ the weather was just right and we chose a spot on the verandah watching the waves. The food was delicious 😋 and for a weekday lunch was pretty busy! Definitely the place to come to impress that special someone but book early if you wanted that indoor seat at the glass windows!
Ordered the raw seafood plate, and they ran out of fresh oysters (2 pcs). They substituted with one of each of the sashimi; 9 pieces of sliced raw fish for $35 was really expensive. The white anchovies on crostini were tasty. Didn't really like the pasta with garlic prawns, find it a little too creamy and sweet.
Worst experience ever, it was our Valentine night and we were so hungry, ordered a veg pizza, pizza came with a ton of cheese, since we were so hungry, we had to eat just bread from the pizza. The food is consistently excellent. I believe that the chili mussels are a standout dish. The desserts are always fantastic as well. However, the service often disappoints. It's not that the staff is rude or anything, but rather they seem to be inadequately trained. For example, they bring the main course out before clearing the plates from the starters. Overall, if you don't mind average service, you will definitely enjoy the food and the view.

Been a Fridays customer starting in the USA in 1976, but never again! Signs advertising happy hour every day but do not show times, it's a trap. Ordered large dinner at 7:30pm, food served at 7:55pm and we were told they were closing at 8pm and we needed to hurry up. Chips were raw/undercooked, like rubber, told waitress and she said she would tell the cook, no sorry or we will get you some properly cooked chips. For what they charge for food and drink it was a dreadful experience!
We really enjoyed the Rump and Chicken Parmi; both meals were generously portioned and delicious! Highly recommend! One of the best meals we've had in the region.

Exceptional view, high-end food, and friendly staff. In particular, the manager had an old-school, personable manner, engaging in chat from the get-go and throughout the evening. Reminded me of what the restaurant scene in Sydney used to be like in the good ol’ days. Nothing was too difficult for this gentleman, even though we were a table of many different dietary requirements. The food was high quality and cooked with skill and simplicity. We brought our own cake - a fancy multi-tiered designer piece - and the restaurant did an exceptional job storing it safely, presenting it with candles and sparklers, and bringing it out at the perfect time. There are lots of restaurants at Wooloomooloo but I think this one is a standout.

The menu has great options and the meals are served relatively quick. They have daily meal specials, as well as a joint deal with Putt Putt next door for a discounted meal.
The bistro feels clean and well lit, with open air and greenery all around. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will return again.

My partner makes the reservation with a glass of champagne upon arrival and we hope that the staff will bring it to the table without asking since it was specified in the booking that it was intended to be a surprise upon arrival.

Nur 5 Min. von der Upper Roma entfernt gibt es hier in den Barracks einen Supermarkt, Geldautomat, Bars und Cafés. Und wem das nicht reicht, gegenüber findest du zur Not noch ein paar andere Food Shops. Wenn ich den ersten Abend immer hier in Brisbane bin, gehe ich hier in ein Café und komme langsam an.

Nur 5 Min. von der Upper Roma entfernt gibt es hier in den Barracks einen Supermarkt, Geldautomat, Bars und Cafés. Und wem das nicht reicht, gegenüber findest du zur Not noch ein paar andere Food Shops. Wenn ich den ersten Abend immer hier in Brisbane bin, gehe ich hier in ein Café und komme langsam an.
This has been one of the worst if not the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Firstly we arrive and find out if we leave a good review we can get a free shot, this is misleading people who are expecting a wonderful experience at this "renowned" restaurant. Secondly as soon as we sit down we are greeted with seats in a sauna they say the ac was on but I disagree. Lastly the whiskey glaze chicken burger and the caesar salad me and my mate order was dry and plain. Overall, the experience here with my friends was very dreary and overwhelmingly tiresome for the high prices advertised. Do not recommend!
Our first time here and we absolutely loved it. The friendly and welcoming staff as soon as we arrived, continued after we sat on the balcony overlooking the beach.

Shared the 1kg pot of mussels Spanish style and they were delicious, so fresh! paired with bread and chips was a good lunch for 2 of us. 30min wait for food (was told to us by the servers straight up, but that was ok as it made time for a drink beforehand!) is pretty busy and can get rather hot/steamy and noisy in the markets (but that’s all part of the market atmosphere!) but a great stop in spot for some delicious seafood!!! Eager to come back during oyster season to try their well reviewed oysters….
Great for cocktails, burgers, bites, except I thought the nibbles were a little oily. Also checkout their app. They have good offers on it.
Such a scam this place is. there is this guy on 19/12/23 at 6.30pm, making espresso martini is nightmare. The taste is no good and even though you pay heaps, he prepared the coctail half a glass and when i told this he was just not accepting and giving you excuses. No good. Dont get coctails from here. Go for beer if you have. Dissapointment!! Look at this cocktail!!
Vincent the bartender was amazing. He has amazing skill in cocktail making, very fun to watch, and amazing conversation. The food was delicious and music was great. Definitely recommend coming here
Love everything we ordered, food came out fairly quick. Their pizza is unexpectedly good, even my picky toddler love it. Salmon & the beef fillet were both beautifully cooked, love the potatoes which goes with both dishes. Great outdoor seating area, there is also a little playground next to the alfresco.
I love this buffet so much! First time eating here and i am very satisfied. Love their kimchi so much⭐️ although seafood selection needs more 😌 overall i love it so much! Will comeback here again with my family and will recommend it to my friends 🤍

It was my first time at a Korean BBQ buffet, and this did not disappoint 👏. Simple concept: select a variety of meat, seafood, vegetables and dipping sauces to prepare by hand on the table grill plates; other foods available are fried rice, miso, kimchi, noodles, curry and soup. 💯 recommend 👌. $45pp minimum of 2pp per table. There are plenty of Korean beverages—the perfect place for a group outing or celebration. Word of warning ⚠️ there is a surcharge for wasted food.
food is not authentic Korean (seasoning is not right, bad side dishes) not a lot of options for $45pp. Drinks are overpriced. Spend a bit money for a-là-carte instead of a bad buffet.
Had the 2.0 loaded fries, chicken bacon and Mmmm it was good. Service was OK, QR puck at the tables where you scan and it's all done virtually. Picked my food n drink and paid all on the app, super convenient. Atmosphere was nice enough was there during the slow time so not much going on, stayed at the lower level only so was nice and simple.

TGI Friday in Westfield Doncaster left much to be desired. Upon arrival, the waiter at the front door seemed unwelcoming when we found out free kids meal is not available today.

Casual laid back atmosphere, great service, even better food. A very clean and modern sports bar and restaurant in the suburbs, family friendly that serves the best steak and buffalo wings in Perth. They have a modern menu with something for most tastes.
Great beer, food and atmosphere. Has several giant screens to see sports games, sound is a bit loud but it's a pub. Centrally located in a very good and safe area of Sydney Central.
The experience of dining at TGI Fridays is inconsistent . Sometimes we receive a very good service and good food. Some other times the experience is not that good. I can tell because we are regulars and every time we experience something different.
In general, I like the staff very well. They are dedicated and kind. But some times they deliver orders wrong and we usually we have wait a while to get served.

Great little bar counter spot in Central Market. Solid tapas and wines to boot. Had the King George Whiting Slider which was on the specials menu and it was very nice which we complimented with a side of chips and a glass of Pines Riesling. In the evenings be sure to book a spot if you want to sit at the bar as it looks like bookings fill up quickly.
This is a hard one. The staff were exceptional! The cocktails fabulous and the wine selection, even thought short, still had everything we liked. 😍😍😍 So 5/5

And lastly and most disappointing was the Valencia paella. It was wet rice with 3 pieces of chicken, 2 sausages, 2 peeled prawns ( they should be whole in a peella🦐🦐) and 1 piece of octopus... what happened to the muscles?
The tiramisu was nice but crunchy... that's definitely a first.
They did have a function on that night and maybe the kitchen was overwhelmed but I guess I can only review my experience from the night.

The food options here are by far amazing. The regular for myself is the sushi restaurant (classic Jonny I know), but there’s more here to tickle anyone’s fancy. Coles for the essentials, and Oporto for the person On-The-Go. To round off a perfect evening why not pop into the barracks cinemas to see the latest flick? Or maybe take advantage of the free 2 hour parking and take a wander over to the new courtyard restaurants tucked beside Coles. Whatever you choose, you’ll have a great time here at the barracks. You might even see me on the sushi train having my usual tuna and avo, soaking in the ambience.

delicious food with prompt service. Nice live music but too noisy to enjoy. Serving of food is just right in portion and loved the tapas. Will be back again to try out other food in the menu.
Even though there was no music that night, the staff, food and cocktails made us happy! The food was delicious, great presentation. Nice cocktails, ink gin was fun to poor and watch a colour change. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We'll come back for the music at some point!
This is such a fun place, the food was great they had lots of options for meat lovers and veggies. The cocktails are on point make sure you don't drive because you will want more. They best time for these drinks are during happy hour where you get almost 50% off. The normal price range is from $16 to $22.

The shopping centre has everything you need. Coles and all your fast food outlets, Oporto, sushi and some others. Everything is quite affordable also. The centre is kept really clean. You also get 2 hours free parking which is also really convenient when going to the local GP or weekly groceries.

Updated 10/23: visited TGI now that it is well established in the upstairs Doncaster Dining area. Food quality has improved from last time, however we didn't find it was good value ($19.90 for 4 potato skins, wings about $2 per piece). The weekday specials seem to be a good deal though. Service is still a sore point as staff were very disinterested and dropped plates/food on our table without acknowledging us at all! Disappointing.

Food was just average for the price and poor service really impacted the experience. We ordered the nachos, half rack pork ribs and 12 wings (buffalo and chipotle honey). Wings and ribs are good but I wouldn't order the nachos again (overpriced, sloppily assembled). The famous chips were very soggy and slaw was bland.
Our food arrived lukewarm because it was sitting under the lamps (right next to our table) for a while. Had the same problem later when I ordered takeaway and it sat on the bench for 10 minutes before I walked over and asked if it was mine.
The waitstaff were quite disinterested and won't help tables not in their section. We were told to order on the app which isn't possible with the voucher we had, so it took half an hour to order. We flagged down a waitress waiting at the lamps (no food ready) and she started taking our drinks order but wouldn't take our food order... She then rudely told the manager "go get [our waitress] and tell her to do her job". I hope that TGI will change this policy to ensure that the waiters support each other to ensure customers get a good experience.

One of the best experience ever had. Andrew was the guy who served us. It was so cold outside and we just came from tiring long walk. We requested him for Mulled Wine, he didn't even heard of it. His eagerness to know what it is, he searched on Google and got a recipe and as soon as he seen the recipe he agreed to prepare and serve specially for us. He really made our day when we tasted the first sip of it. We are so thankful to him for all the kindness shown. If you are a big fan of Mulled wine, just go and request him, he will definitely serve you with a good smiling face.
We were in Richmond for two nights after covid restrictions eased. We came across this pub. Best find ever! Huge meals & the food was divine! We came here every day either for lunch or dinner. Russell the chef is a lovely, friendly character. He made us feel most welcome & boy can he cook! You won't be disappointed! We'll be back.
