Bistro Volnay

Absolutely fantastic dinner from the wine selection to the exemplary service food was bang on true French cuisine. Was my first time here and if I was a local it would be my weekly. Thank you to Jvlien and crew for making us feel at home.

Great bistro for wines especially Burgundy. The list is very interesting but of course many top wines were already sold out. The food needs attention as I don't think it was really good. I find it disappointing as they tend to use modern elements on the dish which is probably not needed. Sometimes less is more.

Second year in a row that we've scheduled a dinner at Bistro Volnay, and this was the second year in a row that we've been impressed with the food, service, and ambience. The staff was most excellent and accommodating (not least of my poor French), and they have excellent flavors and wines. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

This place was recommended to us by our concierge at the MO. We wanted to get a nice last minute dinner and this place was absolutely perfect. We were most impressed by the wine list and the bartender that gave us his recommendations. He was incredibly knowledgeable and very passionate about his wine. It was too impressive! The dinner and desert itself was very nice on its own! It was quiet and slow for their dinner service that night, so we got to enjoy some great food and a little bit of peace. Also, the cut on the steak was perfect! Beautiful marbling and it came through on the flavor.

Very nice French bistro. The lunch was delicious and in case you got time for an extended lunch including a nice bottle of wine, don't forget to ask for the wine list. The choice of wonderful wines is as amazing as the dishes that get prepared in that small kitchen.

Tucked away in a busy neighborhood, Bistro Volnay is the perfect culinary escape during a night in Paris. When I visited, I was greeted with extremely kind staff who were able to make every table feel like the only one in the room, even when the restaurant was full. The amuse bush was an incredible soup, and my order of steak and potatoes was an explosion of flavors. An amazing bistro to check out when in Paris.

Good food served in this restaurant. Products are fresh but meals are lacking balance. Quality / price ratio is met. Nice wine list. Staff is nice but service is slow. Few seatings available outside.
