My family and I had a great time ice skating here. It was pretty empty on a Tuesday Night at 5pm. The best time to go with toddlers.

The staff were friendly and helpful. There was no line or wait, and the penguin stands were available for use.

As an FYI, you have to go to a restaurant nearby to use the bathroom, which didn't present an issue for us.

There are plenty of local restaurants within walking distance and the food is delicious.

I recommend Outdoor Ice Skating at The Avenue Whitemarsh.

Cute outdoor skating rink went on a Monday during Christmas break not too crowded when we got there around 12ish, but by 3pm it was pretty crowded, plan accordingly. Will come again with the kiddos this winter.

Staff super friendly and timely even in crowds, unfortunately rude people ruin the experience for others. A woman was hoarding children’s penguins while her kids skated without them “just incase they wanted them” while my three and four year old attempted to skate alone with their father and I stood by the side watching with a stroller. People need more consideration for others. Also, they need more penguins.

It's a fun small ring for family and kids. When crowded it's a bit hard to find available sits and skate sizes. Prices (~$16) are higher then expected for the amount of time given (1hr).

- book tickets online

Beautiful rink in a clean, cute shopping center. Bars and restaurants all around and makes for a fun outing. If you come at 9 pm, you may not get to skate the full hour as they tend to close up at 9:50pm. Also, they accept walk up after 9pm to skate so you don’t need pre-purchased tickets.

Free penguin assists if you can grab one! Everyone wore a mask and there was no problem grabbing a seat. People were generally pleasant and you get dining deals with your admission. I wish they sold jot chocolate or something though. Fireside seating is nice!

We had a lovely experience. It was very easy to purchase tickets online. When we arrived, our skates were already ready. It was not overcrowded. My children appreciated having a small penguins to help steady them as they skated.
