Came in for dinner. Curry and lemongrass soup was amazing. Then things started deteriorating. Main dish (veal back) was only OK, and desert dumplings was below that.

We happened on this restaurant when we were looking for a place to have drinks before dinner. It all started when the chef impressed us with all of the Scotch and Irish drink options and was happy to explain all of them. We decided to stay there for drinks. And then, after speaking with the chef again, decided to try some appetizers. They tasted beyond amazing. So then we decided to get a little dinner which was, also incredible and perfect. We also enjoyed fabulous desserts. This was, by far, the best restaurant we have eaten at since coming to Germany.

- octopus tempura (honestly didn’t like this, I couldn’t taste the octopus, only the batter of the tempura, it wasn’t crunchy too :( )
- beef tartare (I prefer Korean yukhoe, this was okay to me, but others at the table said it was good)
- saffron foam cream curry??? (THIS was mind blowing I loved it so much, such a complex taste, it had me closing my eyes to hone in on the flavours)
- saffron fish (very nice!!)
- steak (went over my head!!)
- roast beef & onion (very good, best main of 4)
- ox cheek (okay!!)
- complimentary dessert (very cute! comes in a danger/warning box, not sure why lol)
overall, I think the experience was nice but my qualms with this restaurant was 1) the slow serving (whole meal took about 2 hours?) 2) super overpriced 3) generally, food was average which makes the pricey bill even more not worth it
however service was good, they were friendly, and the place is quite chill for a fine dining place

We were visiting Stuttgart and ended up in this place for a couple glasses of wine. They charged us 11 EUR per glass for normal rose wine cause we didn't have cash to leave deposit for the glasses to be able to drink on the terrace and never gave us back this deposit (we returned glasses back to the bar). These prices seem to me ridiculously expensive, but I guess this is their approach for the tourists. The wine was good to be fair.

Wonderful experience at Brenner, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was on point. It's a smaller restaurant, so I would advise calling to see if there is room available. I wish I had space for dessert!
They have a really good selection of wine. I got the tuna tartare and had to get extra bread because it was so good! I ask got the mushroom risotto with parmesan foam. At the end I got a cappuccino and got a chocolate bite and a sweet berry gummy. Would recommend 100%
They did not have an English menu but the waitress was kind enough to walk me through the German menu.
Also a plus, they take credit cards!

Amazing food. Best ravioli I’ve ever had in my life.
