Very peaceful place. Loved walking on beach.

Beautiful quiet beach just north of the city enjoying heavy tides that bring new sand. A wonderful place to go for a walk.

Absolutely beautiful beach. Glistening water, fine sand and driftwood galore. The sun was shining and the doggo had a whale of a time.
There's a free car park (with height restrictions) and also on street parking on the road leading to the car park, for those with bigger vehicles.

Nice walk between the bridges, Don and Balgownie, a few seals bathing also.
Also down to the mouth of the river on the Bridge of Don side, great sandy beach.

A lovely little stretch of beach, which is far quieter (and just generally nicer!) than the main Aberdeen beach. It’s also got a fair bit more character, and on occasion I have caught glimpse of seals (or maybe selkies?!) disappearing into the water at my presence.

The shape of the Don mouth is ever changing as the river and the sea collide, reshaping the channel through the sand. Perfect for a relaxing wildlife walk in easy reach of the city. Come at the right time of day and the views can be breathtaking.

A really nice place to go for a walk near the city of Aberdeen and you would think you were out in the countryside. Seals bask here and feed on fish. Lots of bird life too.
