Westcotes Gardens

A beautiful small park with a lovely little play area with wood chipping soft landing. There are plenty of rubbish bins around the park for your convenience. This area is gated with good all-around fencing, which is locked at night times. There are some lovely places to sit and a great grassed area for small ball games

Lovely little park brilliant for toddlers

The park is nice itself. Good sized, well looked after, good playground for kids and plus point it is enclosed, so if people not forget to close the gate, you can let kids run around. The negative is that some people use the benches for smoking weed or drink alcohol on them with their company, and who brings their dog to walk in the park, they just let them walk without lead which can be dangerous for kids.

Amazing place to go and relax. You might find lots of amazing trees and enjoy the nature in very busy part of Leicester. What makes this place even more interesting is that fact that people bring lots of rubbish and litter and put them on the floor. Not so sure why they doing this 🤔. It doesn't make any sense. Not at all.

A small oasis in a popular busy suburb of Leicester. Sadly, it is in need of a little 'TLC'. Though winter is perhaps not a good time. It did seem as though some flower beds had been returned back to nature. In one corner of the gardens, there is a small selection of children's play equipment. The main area is grass, plenty of room for ball games.

For the most part the park is clean. It is currently in the process of having new planters etc I believe. So the grass is a bit of a mess.
The kids are happy running about and the gates and fences are high and secure so I don't have to worry about them too much and the kids are always visible.

one of the smaller parks of both the area and the city it is well suited to the surroundings with a reasonably large area for light ball games and a play area with plenty of things to climb. The overlooking houses give it a sense of safety too.
