When you walk in, you're greeted like you're heading into an Italian grandmother's house. You take your seat and stare at the massive wine menu on the wall. The aromas from the kitchen waft into the dining area with wonderful fragrances. The owner or one of the employees brings over the board with the offerings for the night. You choose 6 or 7 and trust me you will want dessert. The buzz of the restaurant sets the mood for a party environment. The food arrives and it's simple and amazing. The flavors of everything are aromatic and transformative. The wines pair perfectly with what you order. You will be extremely happy you made reservations here. No instagram madness, no major marketing, just amazing food and a great atmosphere. The beef tongue, bone marrow and beef tartar, tuna fish and tomatoes, linguine, veal kidney with black truffles were all amazing. You need to go here when in Paris.

A wine list the size of the wall (literally it’s the whole wall!) and quite a charming wall with an extensive selection of natural wines. A seasonal changing menu with food that hits the spot. Great price point that makes it a solid choice for a casual cosy dinner.

We found this place by coincidence a month ago when looking for an oyster bar near La Gare de l’Est. Incredible food, service and ambiance. Their oysters were insanely tasty, and every bite was an experience.. It’s a mix of Italian and French cuisine. The service is fantastic: very welcoming and genuinely nice people <3 Very cozy and slow eating like at home. Looking forward to that brioche perdu in my next trip to Paris.

Great little bistro close to Gare du Nord and Gare d’Est. Excellent food. Must try their signature dish of bone marrow with beef tartare!

This is one of the best experiences I have ever had. The restaurant is very cosy and welcoming, the atmosphere is authentic and food is just simply brilliant. Our host Cedric was very helpful in translating and explaining the different dishes. I highly recommend a visit to this gem in Paris.

I ordered the quail dish, it was soooo good! I normally don’t eat mushrooms but this dish was so balanced and the quail and shrooms was really juicy. And the waiter helping me was reslly friendly and helpful, I tipped him 40+% afterwards because of the service and the exquisite dish 🤩

Chez Marius is definitely worth a visit. Tasty and authentic French food in a cosy environment. It’s quite close to Gare de l‘est, so it’s perfect for enjoying a nice lunch or dinner before your departure or directly after your arrival. If you’re an early bird you’ll get a table. But be quick. We had bone marrow, fish, sausages and cheese along with a really good Chardonnay. I can absolutely recommend it!!!!
