Great park! Lots of youth sports happen here, plenty of green grass to roam! They have restrooms. Parking is tight. It’s located by a school and in a residential neighborhood and is a little hard to find.

Cool little park to stop and play. The morning time brings a lot of traffic as there is a school across the way. So there is lots of drop off or puck up traffic at select times. Other than that this place is cool. Even has spots to BBQ. Has a few benches and a nice common area

2 to 5 years old park. Fun playset.
There is a concrete court for Zumba classes at 530pm on Wednesdays, I believe.
Big field for you to play pick-up football games. Barely damp field after rain - good drainage.
Nice grass.
Clean Bathroom for both men and women.
Bring a towel if it just rained to wipe down wet slides on the playground.
Grass is green year-round.

This would be a perfect park to take your little ones to while you wait for your school-aged kids to be released from Roosevelt Middle or Alamosa Park Elementary. It’s so close that it shares a gate with the schools. I loved the 0.20 mile loop sidewalk around the perimeter of the lawn. Just a few laps make up a great stroller jog as you pass by the beautiful blooming purple Jacaranda trees.

📍At the end of Alamosa Park Drive, Oceanside, CA 92057

Very nice big open area! The play ground is pretty nice. Only negative is the small wood chips they use under the play ground equipment. My kiddo has cut his hands several times on those little wood chips.
