Monthly membership cost is too high for services available or received. Food is good but not outstanding, often received lukewarm or cold. Service is good.
The service is always good but.... the food is NEVER hot. I've been here many times and have never been served a hot meal.
The dining room can really use some remodeling, redecorating and freshening up! Carpet in a restaurant dining room is simply gross! The unwelcoming vibe is very library/funeral home.

Loved the blackened cod while looking out over the water. Great view and atmosphere. Drinks were cold and served promptly.
The food & staff were great. The site, building & decor is marvelous.
OMG! Become a member if you can. Superb food, great service, and lovely atmosphere. This is the place to enjoy fine dining and ambiance!
Truly the most magical day of my life! My new husband and I just had our wedding reception here on June 27th (the day after Illinois moved into Phase 4, which allows 50-person gatherings). Everything was perfect, and I’m not exaggerating in the slightest. For the cocktail hour, we had passed appetizers and beverages around the beautiful pool (such a spectacular view of the river). Dinner was impeccable, elegant, and absolutely delicious. We selected three entrees for our guests to choose from: the Club Steak, Chicken Mignon, and Eggplant Parmesan. Everyone raved about the food!!!! The service was fabulous and the drinks never stopped. Every server was charming and turned the night into a party! Over the past 10-ish months while planning, I spoke with Kelly, the manager and event coordinator, on an almost weekly basis😂 She quelled every fear, answered every question, and gave us great advice. The week and day of our event ran so smoothly all thanks to her!!!! We are huge UClub fans, and if we lived in the area, we’d become members. If you are looking to host an event, you’ve come to the right place. Whatever your vision is, the University Club will bring it to life. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
Beautiful Christmas party with wonderful friends & scrumptious dinner. The University Club has great service & food. Fun times! Thank you so much Sue! Amazing venue.
