Table 28 at the Detroit Zoo offers a mixed dining experience. The burger was decent, but the tenders were disappointingly dry and tough to chew. While the fries were plentiful, they were served in open packaging, causing them to cool quickly. Overall, it’s an average option for a quick bite during your zoo visit.

my boyfriend and i went to the zoo light december 7, 11 months to the day of out 3 date there earlier this year….. it was a special occasion for us.

while looking over the buffet, being a vegetarian i was thinking i would have salad and macaroni and cheese. a man who works for the restaurant wakes up to us and asked if there was anything he could do for us….. my boyfriend said “my girl is a vegetarian “….. the lovely man said hold on 2 minutes! to our surprise he came back with a veggie burger!!! he was wonderful and made our occasion that much better. i wish i knew his name. i would like to praise this man for going above and beyond for me!! thank you for being great at your job!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The trays are stacked 30-40 high on all trash receptacles, trash all over ground. Food tastes absolutely horrible, poor oil quality for frying. Prices are outrageous for what you end up with. Had to wait longer for chicken tenders that ended up tasting like burnt oil and had to return them anyway because my daughter couldn’t eat them.

We stopped by Table 28 at the Detroit Zoo expecting a satisfying meal, but unfortunately, the prices far outweighed the quality of the food. The portions were small and the prices were steep - $10 for a single chicken tender and fries, and $12 for a mediocre hot dog and fries. While the convenience of dining at the zoo is a plus, the value just wasn't there. For the prices they're charging, we expected much better quality and quantity. Disappointing experience.

Wouldn’t recommend. I had to place my order with a kiosk. Not even 2 mins after I ordered my food was up. Not freshly cooked. My bun was cold. It was like an over priced Mc Donald’s. The sides for my burger were fresh and tasty. The staff were really nice. An older lady gave my 1 year old a Dino flavored water. It was very sweet. Also, very unexpected. It was nice to get out of the heat.

Y'all slayed this day. Saturday was chaos with the nice weather. The folks at the counter and in the kitchen didn't miss a beat. This is our designated pit stop every time we visit. These put the Park fires to shame lol

I took my daughter's and son and we had a great time! She got loaded 🍟 and I got regular ones. The ppl there are So nice!
