A city course that is constantly being maintained, love that. You really don’t see that often enough in city courses. Really great round didn’t have a pace of play issue at all (Saturday aug 31st, noonish tee time.) Starter/ranger were friendly/informative of the course. Really enjoyed stopping in

I've played at a lot of courses, but Rackham takes the cake for being the absolute worst. It should be called "Hack 'Em.”

The pace of play is painfully slow. I was part of a league here, and 9 holes often took over 3 hours. It got so bad that we couldn't even finish our prepaid rounds. And don't even think about a quick round-it's a miracle if you get through 18 holes before nightfall.

The course conditions are abysmal. It's like they've never heard of drainage. There are no intentional water features, but if you take a piss on the fairway, there will be a puddle for weeks.

Walking only? You bet. And good luck getting a pull cart. With a thousand golfers crammed onto this course at any given time, carts are a rare commodity. Parking is just as bad—you'll be lucky to find a spot without circling for ages.

The cherry on top? Management. They're a bunch of clowns. They called us to say our tee times had been moved up 20 minutes, only to send us off even later than our original times.

If you're looking for a relaxing, enjoyable round of golf, steer clear of Rackham. This place is a nightmare.

Affordable, old course which is very walkable. Greens are usually pretty decent, but tee boxes are some times a mess. Does not drain well so playing after rain is not recommended, maybe visit the zoo next door.

I’ll save you the hassle, play somewhere else. The whole course has issues with either too much water or not enough. 70% of the fairways are roped off because they are in such poor shape. They send you off when the group in front of you is at least out of driving range, so you and the people behind you are up each others butts the whole time. Close to 3 hours to play 9. $70 for 2 people to play nine with a cart on the weekend seemed stiff for the condition of the course. Don’t play here. High school kids running the place were chill though.

First time golfing here, was a bit excited to say the least. Right before teeing off the starter came running up saying that "we are playing w this pair FYI, so wait for them please!". Which we did, the entire time we played....every hole. We were also harassed at every hole(except 2 holes, 18 being one of them) by the starter to pick up the pace. I'll say this......next time go "complain" to the pair you forced us to play w instead of constantly making us mention it to them!! Extremely rude!!!

We would've finished over an hour earlier if we would've been left alone instead cramming pairs together.

Sorry, won't be back ✌🏼

The check in desk is always kind and the course is beautiful! I enjoyed the pretty straight fair ways and there’s no water for my balls to go swimming which is a win, planning to continue golfing here throughout summer (and they accept YOC)

We played here during the week and it was awesome! It wasn't too busy, we could golf at our own pace.

This is a classic Donald Ross course. Strategically placed hazards, gave me some challenges. Not to mention a few balls that went missing in the rough. The course was in good shape for the fall.

It was easily accessible, plenty of parking. Enjoy!
