We went here last night with the family, some from Sydney who were keen on having a decent time in an arcade. We arrived at 8:30pm, and knew that closing time on a Friday night is 10pm. When we went up to the counter the young fella working there told us that they’d be closing at 9 instead of 10. When I asked why, he said because they needed to clean up and that they weren’t busy enough. I looked around and there were quite a few people still coming in and playing. I found it highly unprofessional for them to decide to close early because they needed to clean up and obviously didn’t want to work for the extra hour, which I wonder if they were paid for, considering their shift hours.

There was also an issue with loading the credit onto my card, I had to go back after just paying for it to rectify the issue.

This put a damper on our vibe and we didn’t enjoy the short time we were in there and were forced to leave.

Like quite a few comments here have pointed out, this place deals in fraudulent activity.

The ticket to summer promotion for example had a promotion of spending $70 in a transaction and getting $110 plus points. This never happened though. Both myself and my partner loaded cards for our group, multiple times each but the $70 ones were not honoured for the promotion. I have attached the bank statement to prove the purchase.

So that's about $80 in extra that they advertise for, but won't honour. Pure fraud. When approached, the blond manager lady was not only shockingly rude, but said there is nothing that can be done. Don't like it, email management

A course in customer service and manners would work wonders for this woman. My whole group was shocked at the way she talked. To the point part of the group didn't want to initially stay. We were also given notice over and over of the closing times even though we had arrived over an hour before scheduled closing. I get it, working the closing shift is terrible. Going by the staffs attitude I presume they are paid minimum wage at most.

We asked about the clip and climb and high ropes, all closed. Manager said no staff to run it and they wouldn't do it this close to closing time. She was shockingly rude and shallow.

As per other reviews a lot of the machines are broken and not reading the cards right at all. The axe throwing for example is so broken you can miss the board entirely and register a bullseye.

Our cards supposedly had free blue games as part of the deal as well. Where are these games though? I asked the staff and was told to just go to the back of the store, where again half the machines are not working..

It's a shocking place and it's clear by the reviews here alone they actively participate in fraudulent activities, I guess they just hope people will get over it. At least that's the message the blonde manager/supervisor portrayed.

It's not worth visiting this location, I'll have to take this further as I am quite an advocate for consumer law and it's clear they aren't.

Staff where really friendly, one big issue is that you tap your money loaded card, the machine deducts the money though the machine does not play! I did mention this to the lady at the counter and she was very apologetic. This is concerning as timezone do this aswell, and I think consumer affairs should be checking the machines for mis conduct. Might make a good story for the news to investigate as this is really fraud taking peoples money,it's pretty disgusting.

Took my son for a fun afternoon which turned to be a complete waste of time as most of the machines were broken or accepted money then didn’t work after getting 4 games refunded thank didn’t work, we then had waiting 25 minutes to get a refund of our card only to get refunded the value of the card not the eftpos fees as well. Felt so sorry for the children left to run the place with no clean management in place.

I love arcades and this one has a fantastic range of games and activities, however, half of them were broken. We elected to put a dollar amount on our cards rather than get the timed package, and every second game would scan the card, take the money and then the game wouldn't work. We had to make multiple trips to the counter to get the defunct games refunded which was frustrating for us & also the staff I'm sure. Staff were very helpful but it seems as though management is very lax with maintenance and repairs of the games. It's understandable if some are out of order but it was honestly about half. Quite disappointing unfortunately.

Was very disappointed, we loaded the kids with cards but lots of machines were either out of order or when they swiped, it didn’t register but still charged them. I approached the staff who assured me it was fine so I returned but after I noticed it again, I returned and the staff member did put some money on the card which was nice but I didn’t exactly want to spend more time running around trying to find a machine that worked or that didn’t double charge.

The team are so generous and kind with their time. I recently took my daughter for her birthday and they did everything to make her visit welcoming. She had the best time! The high ropes course and rock climbing are awesome for kids and adults too!! Highly recommend 🙌🏼

Fun place to take the kids to. They offer an area for climbing and another for ninja type activities (both paid separately). Kids have to be taller than 120cm to enter the ninja one without a parent. The video games section is way too dated, the machines are worn out, some are broken and taped, others are dusty and dirty, the rest are simply OUT OF ORDER… Not a great bang for the buck, the ticket payout from games is so little and the toys offered for purchase is way too expensive (in tickets). My kids used $70 on machines and they still could not afford anything from the toy shop! A bit disappointing for them.
3 starts simply for the climbing area, my eldest enjoyed her time there. Staff were super friendly and full of smiles.
Going back to TimeZone :)
